Premiere: RIGOONI - Tzaddi [Amesch]

Operating out of their Santa Fé home, seasoned Argentine duo, Abity, return to Clubsonica Records for the label’s 128th release with “Alice”. Veteran of more than 500 production credits over more than 15 years, the pair have consistently been at the vanguard of modern progressive house with a sound that has seen them featured on such luminary imprints as Univack, Mango Alley and Particles. April 2022 saw a Clubsonica debut courtesy of “Sinerxia / Lotus”, while remixes for label head honcho, Juan Pablo Torrez, and, most recently, Andre Moret in March 2025, now see Abity join forces with Clubsonica debutant and vocalist, Las Modas.

“Alice” is a chunky rhythmic gem, propelled by heavy kick and ticking hi-hat percussion. With hints of Moderat, courtesy of a lilting vocal phrasing, Las Modas delivers emotion aplenty, creating an intense atmosphere. A hefty bass groove adds to the aural collage and shimmering melodic energy is provided by a mesmerising arp that arrives at the breakdown and evolves into an acid-tinged force in the third movement.

Stereo Underground is an artist who requires little introduction to underground dance aficionados. A legendary figure and co-founder of the “BPM College” music school, the Israeli star has been a staple of such leading imprints as D-Nox’s Sprout, Sasha’s Last Night On Earth and Kasey Taylor’s Vapour Recordings. Moreover, a debut full-length album in the shape of 2019’s “The Art of Silence” was a high-watermark on Balance Music with a magnum opus of unrivalled and timeless quality. Returning to Clubsonica Records for the first time since a 2021 remix of Golan Zocher and R O N A, the Stereo Underground remix retains the strong vocal anchor of the original while delivering a stellar, detuned analogue lead that gently bends as a filter gradually opens. Counterpoint motifs create additional sonic intrigue and Stereo Undergound’s skill is to take the themes resonant in “Alice” and transform them into stunning new musical ideas. The outcome is another hugely impressive and expansive remix interpretation to add to the Stereo Underground catalogue.

The final reworking comes from the Russian trio, ELECGROUND. Regulars on a plethora of high-profile imprints since a June 2021 debut, OLD SQL, BeatFreak, Univack, and AH Digital have all played host to their “multidimensional sound, unusual harmonic structures and atmospheric elements.” Aiming to create an immersive listener experience, the trio’s work on Clubsonica is centred around late-2024’s “Intergalactic Monster / Humanity” EP, which included a remix by legendary South American figure, Juan Deminicis. Now returning, the ELECGROUND remix of “Alice” is a typically dynamic affair with a smorgasbord of rhythmic prowess and spine-tingling melodic emotion. Building smoothly by virtue of a strong rhythmic foundation and evolving arp, combined with Las Modas’ vocal, the track explodes into a groove-laden powerhouse with its superb sub-bassline. Hitting its straps post-breakdown, a plucked new motif creates trademark ingenuity and a swirling array of effects adds to the club-friendly atmosphere.

A stunning new track from Abity and Las Modas, plus stellar reworkings from Stereo Underground and ELECGROUND, takes “Alice” into a bright and brilliant wonderland.

Opening the EP with ‘Snano’, tough, rumbling bass and sparse percussions give way to detailed sonics and a dark hook that grooves with unencumbered joy. Mutating over the break with filters, the tension rises for a massive second half; the dancefloor a mass of gyrating bodies and warm smiles. 

Next up, ‘Idid’ builds and builds and builds. The perfect mid-set bruiser, warm sweeps and spoken words set the stage as aquatic synths draw you in - deep trance at its finest.  The ebbs and flows never lose their heads, and never become repetitive. A work of genius. 

Finally, ‘Habana’ rounds out the pack in fine form. More percussive than the others, touches of samba add sophistication. Spiky synths mark time as wild analogue arps and vocal ad libs  take the dance floor into ecstasy. Deep, satisfying and utter devastating from the master craftsman.

Some things in life cannot be measured by numbers or translated into words. Having the privilege to officially remix a track by Hernan Cattaneo is one of them. Among this select group is the Brazilian producer and multi-instrumentalist BRVNOV, who has just delivered his own interpretation of Love Is Coming Back. The original track, released in February 2023 featuring the Egyptian-Canadian duo Husa & Zeyada, presented Zeyada’s hypnotic vocals — which were preserved and carefully repositioned in this new remix. The remix sets an intrinsically hypnotic mood from the start, guiding the listener through a sensitive and immersive journey. The break, wrapped in melodic pads, creates a moment of absolute trance and seems to suspend time before the drop, which is luminary and expansive. This is BRVNOV’s third release on DOC Records, consolidating not only his place in the label’s catalog but also the trust and respect of Gui Boratto. With impeccable technical polishing and a steadily growing creative signature, BRVNOV shows himself fully in tune with the Progressive House territory and ready to continue pushing its limits.

Release Info: 
The third Chrom Recordings EP comes from Mark Brainford. Mark is well known in his home country Ukraine as DJ Markus since 2004. His first long awaited EP was released at the end of last year on NoMatter Records (Italy). His second EP followed soon, earlier this year, on the strong new label Ante Records (Germany). And now we are happy to present you his third EP which is called “District 17”.

The title track brings us a super nice summer atmosphere. A massive deep and nice bassline along with beautiful dreamy synths will keep you in excitement till the end of the track. With easy vibes and a fresh composition, District 17 is perfect for the terraces and open airs this summer!

The other track on the EP is called “Drum Machine”, also deep but very melodic and powerful at the same time. This one will definitely take you on a strong enjoyable trip, which makes its perfect for the dancefloor. 

Finally we also added a special remix of Drum Machine from a talented artist based in Germany: Mores Amar. In his remix he puts the focus on the melody giving the original a more progressive house feeling.
