A lot of roads seem to be leading to Israel for Renaissance. Following Magit Cacoon’s superb Argy revision and a soon to be seen remix from Chaim & Jenia Tarsol (watch this space), there can be no denying the sheer weight and calibre coming out of the country.

Further proof, as if that weren’t enough, now comes in the form of Jos & Eli’s SOS EP.

The intrepid Israeli duo arrive at Renaissance on a hot streak, following releases on Watergate, Armada, Stil Vor Talent, Dear Deer and more… With the SOS EP they deliver two absolute corkers that, in their trademark fashion, blur the lines between melodic techno and indie.

“I guess Israel has become a renowned hotbed for indie dance. Although you can hear that influence in our work, we do try to expand the sound to take in melodic techno elements. It’s a shame Beatport don't offer a Melodic Indie Techno genre to be honest!” - Jos & Eli

The package receives a further genre-expanding boost from men of the moment Framewerk. Arguably the current dons of all things breaks and electronica, the British duo imbue their magic on title track SOS with a full throttle mix that pairs a devastating bassline with the tracks infectious melody.

The No Distance guys are back on Truesounds Music with a new 3 tracker!

The title track TENET is a hypnotic journey on solid grounds. Its break with the reversed synth trick is a real mind twister!

The 2nd track HYPERION has an even deeper approach to the current Melodic House & Techno vibes. The smooth toms at the low end and the ethereal leads on the top make this track a quality example of its genre.

MISSING JETLAG has a bit happier atmosphere than the other two on this release, but the gated synth chords in the middle skyrocket everyone’s mind to orbit for sure!
