'It´s back "Skyscrapers" from Norwegian producer Carl Jurgens featuring Swedish vocalist Niso gained much critical acclaim on it's initial release back in 2012. Seven years later in 2019 Praveen Achary took the reigns and performed magic with his Extended Vocal & Dub Versions.

Now in 2020 roll we are excited to present two more new mixes of this gem this time coming from a Dutch producer Alex O'Rion who is currently HOT right now of hits on labels such as Sudbeat, Hope Recordings, Mango Alley, Replug, ICONYC, Clubsonica,. the list goes on. So we are very excited snd pleased to welcome him centre stage with his two fresh interpretations of "Skyscrapers" and what a fine job he has done on both mixes here im sure you will all agree. Alex started to experiment with music at 14 year old and was inspired by the likes of Sasha, Nick Warren and John Digweed. Although his first appearance was in the trance scene, Alex soon found out that deep progressive music was his passion.'

Vivrant's fourth release of the year follows up Jeremy Olander's retro stomper 'Steps', and gives us a return from Khen with his groovy, melodic peak time monstrosity 'A Hero' EP. 

Since his debut on Vivrant in 2017, the Tel Aviv native has gone on to be heralded as one of the brightest shining stars on the melodic house sky. With Beatport chart-topping releases on coveted imprint in likes of John Digweed's Bedrock, Lee Burridge's TRYBESof, Sebastien Leger's Lost Miracle and UK power-house Anjunadeep, Khen's development trajectory as a producer has been nothing short of spectacular. 

'A Hero', the lead record on his sophomore project on Vivrant, his second outing on the label after fan-favorite 'Cornfields' EP from three years ago, ticks all the boxes for a future Khen classic. Intricate yet exuberant FX details, meticulously done drum work and a serene lead melody that culminates with a rambunctious drop when the suspense levels cannot possibly get any greater, are telltale signs of one of the most talented producers of his generation. 

On the flip side, we welcome 'Born Out'. Following up on where 'A Hero' left off, it continues on the EP's paved path of high-spirited soundscapes that gets our neurotransmitters firing on all cylinders. Most noteworthy, the breakdown and main drop. While still maintaining a peak level of sophistication and avoiding any resemblance of a generic cookie-cutter record, 'Born Out' takes our hand and transports us to another dimension.

told us that "Orgsa" was one of the first electronic tracks he had listened to and he fell in love with Sis sound. But as the time passed and his sound developed, he decided to make this version so it will fit in his sets.

Bross runs his DJ and producer activity in Bucharest, the place where, along with a bunch of friends, he created what many call a community, Deep House Bucharest.
With a groovy deep house sound that constantly moves you and a mix of percussion and feeling, you often find him in places united with nature, sharing stories and his love for music.

"The fact that I connect with people not only when I play, but also during the week or most often at parties, giving them energy and preparing them for the moment I’ll mix, helps me have moments full of euphoria and a lot of energy from the audience."

Being driven by the desire to mix and share the sound of Deep Dreaming on an ever-increasing scale, he started his musical production in 2015 with releases to labels such as All Day I Dream,RADIANT., Crosfade Sounds, ThePurr Music and Magician On Duty. He spends much of his spare time in the studio, trying to perfect his production and sound.

Bross’ involvement in the DHB, organizing events that helped establish a community, has contributed to him finding a place in Cyclic, where he makes his residency at Deep In The Grass events. GMJ’s debut solo EP offering for Meanwhile opens with ‘Mood Medicine’, replete with his passion for deep emotive electronic music, the title track bristles with percussive firepower before a seismic kick and bouncing, filtered bassline weaves a magical spell across the near 9-minute piece. White-noise FX builds the tension as a sparkling arpeggio glitters into life at the mid-point onwards, before exploding into the post-breakdown finale with assurance. 

‘Precipice’ oozes equal quality with its subterranean bassline and stereo-panned percussive groove. A delayed-motif then makes its way to the fore as subtle note changes add emotion and intrigue. Counterpoint chord progressions through textured pads continue to supply stratified layers of aural atmosphere as the track waxes and wanes with ease and dancefloor know-how.

Carrying on the theme of huge sub-bass phrasing and dynamic rhythmic prowess, today's feature - ‘Rite of Passage’ - builds on the earworm motif of its predecessor by constructing a hypnotic framework that hits its zenith through a combination of soaring pads and filtered white-noise risers. A gloriously melodic breakdown provides a moment of reflection before the track hits its mark once more in the third movement with GMJ’s trademark combination of melody, rhythm and bass providing a wondrous sonic palette.

Renowned Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto makes his label debut with December and The Miracle, and the label enlists the remix talents of Dmitry Molosh, Zankee Gulati and Lèrr to create an array of stunning interpretations across another exceptional 5-track onedotsixtwo package.

The pulsating energy of 'December' is immediately mesmerising as Sebastian Busto creates the perfectly beautiful dreamy atmosphere that he is renowned for. Through his love of exploring progressive realms of music, the Sydney-based Australian DJ/Producer Zankee Gulati is rapidly making his mark on the scene. A blossoming production career has already seen him exhibit his immense talents on the likes of Clinique, Soundteller, Particles, Visceral, Balkan Connection, and most recently, The Soundgarden. His remix of December has seen exclusive early support from Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident radio show, and it is easy to see why. Deeply hypnotic and with a wonderfully intricate arrangement this is masterfully melodic music of the highest order.

Completing this expansive 5-track package is an utterly blissful remix of The Miracle courtesy of Lèrr. This Montenegrin DJ/Producer is recognised for his unique style combining groovy, deep, melodic, progressive vibes. His enchanting musical creations have appeared on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, Asymmetric, Trndmsk and more so far in 2020, and his deeply delicious reworking of The Miracle stands out as one of his finest yet.

Presenting their debut collaborations, Dmitry Molosh and Nopi land on Cid Inc's Replug Records with 'Consciousness Switch'.  Label artist and progressive music star Dmitry Molosh has found a comfortable home on the Finnish imprint. After rounding out 2019 with the chart topping 'Cascade', the Belarus based artist returned to Replug this year alongside fellow countryman Michael A for their 'Integral' EP. Dmitry's 2020 has also been highlighted by his latest project for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music entitled 'Elison'. Having first appeared in March of 2019, Nopi has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the organic house underground. In just eighteen months the Ukrainian artist has found a home on Akbal Music, Kindisch, Sound Avenue and When We Dip XYZ. His fresh approach to deep and dreamy melodies has propelled him to one of the genre's top up and coming artists. Now making a welcome debut on Replug, he teams up with label veteran Dmitry Molosh for a two-track showcase entitled 'Consciousness Switch'.

As we enter the somber and chilled autumn months in Montreal, we are lucky to find such warmth in the strength of the local music scene. The city has always been a hub for electronic producers, with a network of support and talent unlike anywhere else in the world. Even when the dance community is quieted as events are on pause, there is a lot to be proud of as Montrealers continue to exert excellence in the studio.

Tyler Mesa is the latest artist whom we have grown very excited about. The Montrealer has been able to craft a genuinely unique sound; avoiding the guise of sounding like the rest, Mesa is firmly asserting his own sound as he continues his journey into the international scene.

We are thrilled to have Tyler on board for the next TOR project, the Erathia EP. On display is a sound deeply rooted in trance and techno roots, yet full of innovative flair. The EP represents Mesa's departure in a space where he will explore his influences and introspections, the results of which will be heard throughout the When We Dip labels.

As we reach the pinnacle of the EP, Memoridea and Rising Sun bring immense energy and grit through progressive basslines and rich synth-work. Dancefloor weapons steal the show, as we welcome club-centric sounds into the fold.

On our final release of 2020, Marc Holstege and newcomer duo Jaquomo each offer strikingly tender original tracks, while remixers Moonwalk and Fabian Krooss rework them with dancefloors past and future in mind. The result is a split EP that bridges the gap between the intimate, highly personal experience of today and the nostalgia-driven hope for tomorrow. 

On Marc Holstege's 'The Boy In The Garden', melancholic strings rise and fall endlessly over a slow breakbeat and shimmering synths. But it's the soulful, contemplative male vocal sitting at the song's core that reaches straight for the heart – and won't let go again. 'Wolves (Sunday Morning Version)' is equally touching, as the Dutch producer guides another delicate vocal through a dazzling slow-beat arrangement with profound results. For their remix, the Italian duo Moonwalk then strip 'The Boy In The Garden' of its sentimental atmospheres, cunningly remoulding the vocals to fit their razor-sharp and cinematic peak-time sound.

Jaquomo's 'Replace Space' is sure to run on repeat. Here, Caro Mac's vocal incites our memories for those lost loves as it floats over pensive chords and a crunchy trip-hop beat. 'Close & Hide' is pitched-down piano house accentuated by another ingenious use of vox, making it just as moreish. Rounding things off with a bang, Fabian Krooss reimagines 'Replace Space' as a playful italo-disco opus of arpeggiated basslines and wonky synths.
