The latest release from Antrim's Or Two Strangers imprint finds the label presenting the debut of 'After Burn'. Best known as one of half of Some Little Things, Leandro Moyano now debuts his solo artist alias. 'After Burn' will focus on the deeper spectrum of house with an emphasis on soul and musicality. The Argentinean artist launches the new moniker with a three track EP entitled 'La Mandolina' alongside a remix from Antrim. 

Beginning with the title and showcase piece 'La Mandolina', Leandro sets a strong precedent for the 'After Burn' sound. It's stripped, mid-tempo groove is wonderfully accented with organic percussion and gorgeous strums. Aptly titled, the piece moves through a free flowing storyboard of Mandolin motifs, fully realized during a stunning one minute interlude, before timely effects and a pulsating groove carry the journey home. The EP's second selection 'Pompeya' continues the deep and mystical vibe with charming themes and tribal infused drums. Backed by a warm chunky groove, it's drifting, tripped out clusters tantalize the senses and highlight this soulful story. The third and final selection 'Allegro De Sonata' completes the collection with a punchier framework and spacey effects. Waves of drums steal the air as synth swells and fluid instrumentation converge for many impassioned moments along the way.

The lone interpretation of ‘La Mandolina’ is provided by Or Two Strangers label boss Antrim. The Argentinean artist is fresh off the release of his Beatport chart topping ‘I Hear The Distance’ EP along with key outings on Asymmetric Recordings and One Of A Kind. Never one to get stuck in a particular sonic space Antrim explores deeper sensibilities on his ‘La Mandolina’ interpretation. Processed and edited to perfection, the main themes translate well against a warm, driving foundation. Cross-cultural choirs add the icing on the cake, pushing the mystical boundaries further to an exhilarating finale. 

A stunning debut for Leandro Moyano's 'After Burn' moniker which looks to make its mark throughout all spectrums of deep house moving forward.

As soon as we began tracking @Davis-Genuino on our radar, we were immediately struck by the range of talent and taste that distinguishes him as a DJ and producer. The head of In Their Feelings alongside good friend Zopelar and the driving force behind of one of Sao Paulo's hottest parties, ODD, Davis now surprises all as he docks on ENDLESS with his 'Watu' Ep, exhibiting an all too rare versatility as he reprograms his fusion of world music and electronica with maniacal attention to detail. 

Watu and Forbidden provide the deepest and most melodic moments from the EP, while Yuma delves into darker waters, as a true techno masterpiece, with which Davis reaches the highest peak of tension and deservedly earns space in the peak time searches.

As might be expected, @LucaBacchetti captures the listeners attention with a remix distinguished by percussive elements within an arrangement characterised by repeated changes of scene: just as the record appears to draw to a close, it surprises us again with another killer break.

Fresh from a packed summer of Ibizan parties Darius Syrossian is back on Hot Creations with his pumping Danzer EP featuring a remix from the prolific remixer Adesse Versions.

Darius explains that the idea for Danzer was born out of frustration with current music sounding the same. Inspired by a Floorplan Boiler Room set he wanted to make a track “that has the energy of techno, some funk flavours and also heavily disco influenced. It became a firm favourite at my Amnesia residency with DO NOT SLEEP”.

Danzer is an utterly insatiable peak-time cut with a dizzying drop, powerful female vocal hook and scintillating strings. The techno tool version does what it says on the tin, adding an almighty bassline that reverberates throughout. Initially beginning life as a vinyl edits project, Adesse Versions has gone on to have releases on revered labels including Razor N Tape and Delusions Of Grandeur. On his version he flips the track on its head, taking it on an altogether different route, layering extra percussive pads and womping synths.

2018 has been a huge year for Darius Syrossian. He began a new residency at Ibiza’s infamous Amnesia, alongside big names including Cassy, Martin Buttrich and Alan Fitzpatrick. No stranger to the White Isle, he’s also held down residencies at some of the island’s most prestigious venues. Syrossian has had releases signed to impressive imprints from Moon Harbour to 8Bit and Get Physical to We Are The Brave. This year also saw Darius begin his radio show on Rinse FM, with the imminent launch of his own label, Mozy Muzik, still to come.

We can say that love and music are fuels that ignite the productions of Binaryh, and that consequently take them farther and farther. The musical strength of this couple is reaching greater proportions with each new release, and after a first collaboration of great success with the Prisma Techno, we invite the duo to an EP only with original tracks.

Composed by three tracks, the EP starts with the title track, 'Hydra', which has already been played in major festivals by big techno names such as Tale of Us and D-Nox. The track features an acidic and hypnotic atmosphere, holding our attention continuously until Hydra's revelation: a strongly impacting, intense and energetic drop that releases our deepest feelings on the dance floor. It is impossible not to be affected with such energy!

In the sequence, 'Cerberus' takes us into the underworld through a steady stream, dense bass and outstanding timbres, leading us to a mysterious and engaging climate, until the climax of the track. PREMIERE: Esoteric Circle & In Anima - Dawn (Fur Coat Remix) [Family N.A.M.E]

Following the exhilarating ‘Baby’ on Drumcode, Tiger Stripes returns to Truesoul with a pair of retro-inspired house cuts. 

The Swede has one of the deepest discographies in house and techno, marked by an ear for deep grooves, dynamic arrangements and cleverly utilised vocals. In a career spanning 15 years, those-in-the-know won’t argue: he’s one of the industry’s most dependable and creative talents. 

His last outing on Truesoul was the inspiring cross-genera collaboration ‘Sound of The Bettest’
with Riva Starr. A year on, his return ‘Sneaking Hotdogs into People’s Pockets’ likewise revels in scribbling outside the lines. The title comes from a segment on the popular Youtube Channel Vlog Creations and the track similarly fizzes with the same sense of fun. Tiger Stripes says he wanted to create a cut influenced by his “guilty pleasure” of ‘90s influenced dance pop music, while crafting a work that stays true to his production style, imbued with plenty of depth, groove and soul. The resulting vocal-driven track does this with deft spirit. ‘Guidelines’ is similarly a trip down memory lane. Named after the club night he used to run in Stockholm, he extracts influenced from his home country’s fertile scene in the early 2000s, where disco-influenced house and techno ruled the roost.
