With ´Future Romance´ a new chapter of storytelling house & techno music is opened. After running the mighty Parquet Recordings label for 15 years, german DJ and producer ´Solee´ is starting an additional vinyl & digital imprint with focus on quality deep & expressive sounds. 

Future Romance starts off with „Reboot“ a new single by the labelboss himself showcasing once again his ability to build up a track like no other and combine extensive melodies with big basslines & clever invented synth-work. As remixers for this promising debut release we could win no less than one of the greatest icons of melodic techno worldwide ´Recondite´ (wellknown for his releases on labels like Afterlife or Innervisions) and italian master of organic deep and emotional house sound ´Lehar´, member of the Diynamic family and owner of the ´Multinotes´record label together with Musumeci and Olderic.

After the astounding success of the first release on Reinier Zonneveld's imprint Filth on Acid, the label follows up with a slightly deeper take on club music. We welcome Mees Salomé, who managed to deliver a unique, balanced blend of breathtaking melodies and grooves. Mees Salomé comes from The Netherlands, and manages to deliver extra-ordinary music while only being 21 years old. 

Equivalence EP kicks off with the title track. Equivalence opens with a sturdy kick and dirty hi-hat, anticipating the mesmerizing melody. Combined with the long break and subtle arrangement this track makes for a very heavy hitter on the dancefloor. Next up is Ignorance Is Bliss. Piercing synthlines and morph into rhythmic arpeggiated progressions while continuously driven by a growling bassline. This track really shows of Mees Salomé's talent for balancing out harmony and dissonance. Followed by Reinier Zonneveld's remix for Forest Fire, which turns the original into a heavy no-nonsense peak-time techno banger with fat kicks and big drums, while leaving the powerful synth brass into place leading the way into a big climax. Forest Fire original stands out by the way all the sounds work together, morphing and interchanging in a very organic way. The brass synth makes this track perfect for melodic peak-time affairs. For the conclusion of this EP we're happy to announce Julian Wassermann, who scored many hits on labels like Stil vor Talent & Katermukke with his signature deeper style of tech-house and deep-house. He takes Equivalence into a more hypnotic direction, using an almost talking drum groove. By introducing strong dissonance between the original synthline and his own added pads, tension builds up to new levels which makes the track very effective for after-party brain melting.

Primed for peak time, the first track boasts a bright synth line, drenched in delay, that lets loose over glitchy kick drums and colossal rising strings. 'Magna Mater' subtly amps up the dramatism with subdued atmospheres atop a gritty bassline that build up to an ear-splitting crescendo, giving the energy a sharp boost. 

Final track 'Magna Spe' appears leaner and more restrained, making for a great tool to develop or intensify tension in any part of the set.

Sascha Braemer is no stranger to Marc Romboy’s Systematic.

Recently spotted on the label’s monolithic ‘15 YRS Systematic’ V/A collection last summer with ‘Matar’ and mixing up the 11th edition of the label’s ‘My Love Is Systematic’ late 2018, Berlin’s Braemer returns with this deliciously atmospheric triplet of late night treats.

‘All I Know’ lights the fire. A swooping slab of marching cosmic house laced with hazy, desert-bound vocals, it’s Braemer at his most stately yet introspective. It’s followed by the EP title track ‘Megan’, a tense story of a song that’s sprung with tightly coiled mystique that unfolds to tell a different chapter at every twist and turn. Arpeggios, god-tier drum cracks and a deep driving groove, whoever Sascha’s Megan is, she’s had the strongest of impressions on him; this is immense.

Finally ‘FOU’ brings us to an astounding finale. Whirling, chugging otherworldly groovery; it’s the perfect conduit from house to techno, earth to the stars, head to the dancing feet. Braemer knows where he’s going.
