Berlin-based talent Tony Casanova steps away from his usual disco antics in a four track EP bridging deep tech and minimal.Lost Again kicks off swiftly with a rattling sequence, layered on heavy percussion and suspense-inducing chords. Distorted vocal chops add a sense of mystery, enhancing the spirit of adventure into the unknown imprinted by the melody.. Developing into a spoken word-like sequence, the vocals add to the atmosphere, just before a violin break takes center stage.End of Game evokes a familiar and nostalgic ambiance, aptly crafted through wistful loops and dreamy percussion. Delving into an array of synths at peak point, it induces a hypnotic state, sustained by high vibrant strings, conjuring up an emotive environment.Julian Wassermann dives in on remix duties, providing two solid alternatives to End of Game. The first remix strips down the elevated twists, reverting to the melodic backbone and emphasising the tracks dance appeal. The Error Remix offers a more dynamic bend to the construction, that draws in from the get go and surprises with a punch-heavy bassline and compelling groove.

The time has come for the third and final release of exclusive cuts from the Adana Twins mix compilation. Kicking things off is Aaaron’s ‘Muir’ where organic grooves lay the groundwork for ethereal melodies and sinister vocal calls before Adana Twins ‘Ocelotes’ picks up the pace as powerful percussives oppose robust sonic displays of emotion. 

Following suit of the previous track, Andre Hommen steps up next and delivers a vigorous journey where an unrelenting arpeggio drives forward at high velocity creating a wild and impassioned ride before Daniel Bortz and Sascha Sibler’s ‘Yuppie’ draws back the intensity level to deeper, dub infused territories where groove is paramount. 

‘Gazebo’ from Human Machine picks up the energy level once again as hi pace drums and rapid fire melodies culminate in a fever pitch of dance floor antics before Kadosh & Yost Koen’s ‘Dunkellila’ dives back into celestial territories as a ghostly lead winds eerily into oblivion. 

Rounding out the end of the release is Kintar & BOg’s ‘Tribelune’ where melodic percussion and lush sonics traverse a path deep into emotional sector’s before Upercent’s ‘La Lluita’ finalizes the release with an exquisite array of sonics laid over an engaging broken beat rhythm resulting in a lullaby-esque dreamscape of gorgeous harmonies. 

And for the vinyl connoisseurs Aaaron, Adana Twins, Human Machine, and André Hommen will be available via vinyl while the rest will be digital only. Enjoy!

The main mission of the label is to serve as a platform for promoting gifted artists on the cusp of wider recognition.

The first release consists of the first end of a two-part, eight-track selection of various artists rising in notoriety within the techno scene. Various Énervé Part I features the Berlin-based Frenchman and label founder’s debut, ‘Problème XXX’, along with tracks from promising producers Darse, ENØS and Surt, each of whom ads their unique blend of deep techno rhythms and ambient sounds to a thoughtfully curated mix.

By introducing a collection of artists at once, Affûté 001 allows a broader range of sounds to be showcased. The four different producers all drive the artistic direction hand in hand and superbly set the tone for the great journey ahead.

Out on an ultra-limited series of 12" vinyls and all digital platforms from October 4, 2019.

If truth be told, we’ve been pestering James’ Made By Pete’ Edwards to create his own EP for Selador ever since he first appeared on the label last summer on remix duties for Dee Montero’s ‘Fade Into Noir’, so naturally we’re pleased as punch to be charged with the guardianship of this fantastic release. 

The burgeoning producer has been taking giant strides over the past few years with releases for such esteemed labels as Crosstown Rebels, Yoshitoshi, Radiant and Gruuv and with his newly built studio now fully operational, 2020 is shaping up to be his most prolific yet.  

Here he delivers 3 tracks of equally high calibre, each providing a different twist on the Made By Pete sound. For the title track, the vocal talents of Simon Jinadu are enlisted, who turns in a spellbinding performance that succeeds in full-blown listener entrapment, such is its seductive charm. Sheer,  timeless class all round. 

Next, ‘Sierra’ brings a more present-day feel to proceedings with a glitchy melody and tight tribal rhythms flaunting its finger-on-the-pulse credentials. And finally, the Afro flavours come further to the fore in ‘Rhythm Fabric’, a carefully woven percussive tapestry that delivers in spades.
