Anyma & SCRIPT - In My Mind - [UNRELEASED] Remake

Released on 22nd August, TEUTON’s ‘Make It Blow’ EP delivers an ominous trio of Hard Techno and Psytrance-laced dancefloor weapons.

Following an impressive first offering on ARTCORE earlier in the year with ‘Lose Control’ as  part of the label’s ‘Miami 2024’ VA, the cryptic silhouette of TEUTON returns to Indira Paganotto’s exponentially rising imprint with a solo three-track monster titled ‘Make It Blow’. Backing up an impressive catalogue of self-releases sitting either side of his ARTCORE debut, it’s no wonder TEUTON is back on one of the industry’s fastest-growing platforms, bringing a worthy sacrifice to the altar across a trifecta of blistering main-room stompers. 

The title cut ‘Make It Blow’ comes in rough and ready with a rip-roaring barrage of psy-infused flavours driven by rave synth shots, pulsating bass notes and a catchy vocal hook, carving out an enthralling signal of intent for what’s to come across the rest of the EP. 

‘Bonkers’ is next to appear, delivering an onslaught of even more racy and euphoric elements. It combines pumping grooves and dreamy melodic pads, offering dynamic contrast to its gritty, rippling lead and bassline combo, all brought together by another fast-paced, hooking vocal component. 

‘Bass In Your Face’ brings the EP to an impressive close with a knockout finish. Weighty and assertive from the first drum kick, it fuses an array of sinister harmonic facets and another catchy vocal hook with an industrial-sized groove pool of thumping kicks, corroded hats and rolling low-end percussion to round off the release in a potent fashion.

Sabo and his record label Sol Selectas start 2025 with the 6th edition of their annual Global Entry compilation. It's a compilation that covers styles ranging from organic house to indie dance, and focuses on upbeat tracks that warm hearts and souls during the cold winter months.

'Global Entry 6' is a 13-track compilation, which showcases artists that are new to the Sol Selectas roster, and combines them with a selection of imprint favourites.

The full release includes solo tracks by Bebbo, DJ Phellix, Orkidz, Desert Dwellers, GEØVHÄN, Emrat, HAUMS, AtalaiA, Dr Parnassus, Atman, and Cetrini. There is also two collaborative productions, the first is by Sabo and Sarkis Mikael, then the second comes from Giovanny Aparicio, and Fernando Olaya.

It's a dynamic release bringing together music that has origins in 9 different nations to present a multi-cultural package, which embraces Sol Selectas' ethos of combining local folk-law from around the world with contemporary electronic sounds.

Many of the artists on this release have also featured on other respected record labels including the likes of Pipe & Pochet, Shango Records, Cosmic Awakenings, • kosa •, Akbal Music, Harabe, DAYS like NIGHTS, and Stil vor Talent.

Denis Horvat steps up to remix Release, adding a harder edge, and more pump, to the energetic imprint. Horvats signature sound gives this its distinct vibe, utilising an array of unusual effects to send your brain into another dimension. The warped composition makes this a headtrip in itself. Denis considered approach creates moments where the energy plateaus a little, allowing the tension to build... Steel yourself for an extended breakdown, which explodes into a high-energy finale, where the push and pull culminates in a powerful climax. Finally, the Club Edit retains key elements from the original while taking things into slightly darker territory. Hunter/Game and Øostil offer a haunting reinterpretation of their track, with more impactful drum arrangement and higher energy all round. One for the 5am heads down crew...
