The label's priority to support their local artists and give them the chance to spin live on parties as dj's.

Coming together out of their own individual musical worlds, Rodriguez Jr. and Liset Alea met 15 years ago creating music for Laurent Garnier’s legendary imprint, F Communications. Since then, each have gone on to have blinding careers of their own, developing individual personas and sounds, becoming leaders in their fields.

A stunning partner, singer-songwriter, Liset Alea has been releasing albums since her teens. Perfectly poised for stardom since, her solo career saw her co-founding drum and bass, trip-hop band, Etro Anime in New York; co-writing and providing vocals on all songs. From here the only way was up for Alea, leaving the band to pursue her own truly solo ventures, her debut LP, No Sleep, released on EMI, was popular across multiple European territories. As an already well-seasoned artist, she later fronted the French new-wave group, Nouvelle Vague for seven years, touring the world, providing exciting and enchanting performances. With such a notable career to date that spans numerous musical styles from Drum and Bass to Downtempo New Wave, it is clear to see how Alea and Rodriguez Jr. are so perfectly matched.  
 
Known to many, as one of the best live electronic music acts the industry has to offer, Rodriguez Jr. is a multi-faceted musician as opposed to a DJ or producer. Well respected for his unique brand of melodic techno, Jr. takes his influences from genre’s far and wide feeding into his eclecticism. From classical artists such as Stockhausen to electronic groups such as Kraftwerk and LFO, his performances offer a new take on how electronic music can function in a club environment. Upon signing with Mobilee Records, Rodriguez has remained one of the imprints most treasured artists, proving time after time that live electronic music and performance, is as spell binding as any digitized track or record being spun. 

No strangers to collaboration, Jr. and Alea recently worked together on Rodriguez’s album ‘Baobab’; it was here that their creative flame was ignited. Inspired by one another’s musical tastes, the synergy between these two talents was clear from the start, making the prospect of future work together a certainty. Now picking back up on unfinished business, Jr. and Alea announce their new project RJLA, kicking things off with summer track ‘Radio’, releasing on Rodriguez’s native home, Mobilee Records.

Drawing on previous collaborations together, new and original single ‘Radio’ is a reflection of both artists musical appetites. Alongside ‘Radio’ Jr. and Alea include ‘Radian’, initially released by Rodriguez on his ‘Baobab’ album, Alea and him re-recorded the track during their cliff-top live performance for Cercle; Alea’s vocals elevating Rodriguez’s highly complex and technical melodies to new places. An extremely exciting and interesting project for Mobilee, the partnership between Rodriguez Jr. and Liset Alea presents electronic music for ears on and off the dancefloor.

The seventh EP of the label will be by the name of the Spanish producer IVA (@ivamusic). The EP consists of three originals of which the title track is in collaboration with Vero Pérez on the vocals. Besides the talented producer Arude (@arudeofficial) managed to create an intriguing remix.

The title track of the EP is called ‘Distorted’. It’s an driving track with captivating vocals. When the driving synth and the vocals are coming together, an energetic moment is created which swallows you into the track.

For the remix Arude took the original vocal and placed it into a darker and melodic focussed remix. He created a high tension track with next to these melodic touches some interesting drum rolls.

The third track of the EP is called ‘Midnight Children’ and is the most catchy track of the EP. It’s a straight dancefloor track which will keep the crowd moving to the addicting melody.

‘Planet In Danger’ is the last track and is a more floating track, which is ment to close your eyes and let you drift away from all the misery in the world for a few minutes. But at the same time the beautifulness of this track will let you realize how harmonic the world could be.

Saeed Younan is one of America's most accomplished DJs, having four years in a row been voted one of the worlds top 100 DJ's by US magazine DJ Times.

His fusion of bass hooks and tribal percussion creates a high energy style and a carnival feel with a good time vibe. His sound ranges between tough tech house and techno, with his eclectic style always keeping a dance floor on its toes.

Also an accomplished producer his tracks have been previously released on Intec, with this being his third EP for Carl Coxs label, but others to feature his music include Great Stuff, Nervous, Suara and Toolroom.

Back To The Drums opens the EP with a chunky percussive groove comprised of offbeat rhythms. Letting the drums do the talking, this high octane cut builds with intensity as each new sound is introduced. Straight to the point and perfect for peak time plays, this tribal techno track is tailor made for the festival season.

Second is Get Up which has a similar vibe to the first cut but instead of just percussive textures it also has a namesake vocal hook and a rolling bassline that adds to its free-flowing style. Sitting somewhere between techno and tech house, this genre crossing track is a certified party starter thats guaranteed to get the dance floor moving.

Release Info: 
Lucas Tesoin and Thomas Maschitzke know each other for a long time since both are part of the Suspekt roster and were working together from now and then in the past. With the ‘Affront EP’, the Berlin-based DJs and producers teamed up for a more intense collaboration. The sound of the EP gets under one’s skin with its energetic and powerful tunes but is also deep and ethereal at the same time. A record truly made for every floor, club or crowd that admires straight, resolute and soulfully crafted techno.
 
The most groovy track of the ‘Affront’ EP is probably the remix of ‘Insecure’ by Boy Next Door and Pascale Voltaire. A rhythmic bass line slowly gets supported by a snapping clap giving room to the cheerful melody. The second break steadily builds up the increasing tension until breaking down almost completely a few seconds before the powerful drop. The reinterpretation is in no way inferior to the original, leaving nothing behind but a packed dance floor.
