Something a little different this week on the Selador Sessions as we celebrate, on what would have been his birthday, the life of a long time friend of the label who sadly passed away last year, the legendary Australian DJ/Producer/technical trailblazer, Phil K. 
So to coincide with our latest Selador release,  a stunning emotive tribute to Phil by our mutual friend, Greek Producer Stelios Vassiloudis, we invited Stel to put together an hour of mind bending, forward thinking, electronic music dedicated to the man himself.

It’s interesting when life brings you towards your attentions as it wasn’t long after in December that I attended Elements Festival where I met the wonderful Corr who invited me to create a set for the series.

This sonic scape is a journey of electronica, deep and melodic organic house and builds up to more progressive house. My intention is to capture the feel of those unique magical moments that we experience at Australian festival dancefloors, as we haven’t had many chances to be there physically due to the current situation. It was great having the extra time and freedom to meld more subdued melodic and introverted aspects into a mix of this style.

Vinícius Souza aka RIGOONI is a brazilian producer/DJ. Coming from a family of music lovers, it was just a matter of time for the young man to find his purpose. It was through his parents, listening to vinyl records since childhood, where he obtained his greatest musical influences. Self-taught, Vinícius began his productions at the age of 11 allowing himself to explore different genres of house music, building a melodic, organic, atmospheric and exciting sound to bring many positive vibes. This rising talent out of Bucharest, Romania is sure to be heard around the melodic and deep house stages this summer season. Having recently just played Neversea festival as well as Deep In The Backyard alongside acts like Bross, YokoO, El Mundo Lost Desert, Lee Burridge, Adrien, Mohoney, he has a lot of momentum leading into an upcoming release on Nie Wieder Schlafen later this year. His production style is in a constant state of evolution, especially following a life changing experience at All Day I Dream -  Woodstock 69 in 2017 where he discovered a new realm of sound of which to apply his melodic ambitions.
