Itamar Simão, conhecido regionalmente como DJ ITA, é um dos fundadores das labels Progressive Connections. Seu som tem como características centrais um som progressivo, melódico, orgânico e extremamente contagiante. 

Iniciou seu projeto há cinco anos, dando vida a festas de amigos e a eventos de finais de semana em sua região. Devido à qualidade de som que apresenta, seu público tem gradativamente aumentado.
