WOHJ tem formação em produção de envetos e DJ, além de ser apoiador de intervenções artísticas e culturais em espaços públicos da cidade de São Paulo. Idealizador dos Projetos Techno de Rua e Por Trás da Cena Podcast, realiza um trabalho constante na busca por faixas que fogem ao convencional, mesclando vocais hipnóticos, percussões africanas, ritmos percussivos, graves marcantes e assim traz para a pista uma pesquisa apurada de repertório. Vem acumulando excelentes apresentações em grandes eventos pelo Brasil, destacando algumas de suas participações em 2018 na Virada Cultural de SP, em 2019 no Festival do Cerrado em Uberlândia e SP na Rua, projeto com apoio da prefeitura de São Paulo. Mais recentemente no Festival Shakti em São Thomé das Letras (MG) na pista alternativa. WOHJ é residente no palco Camden Town da festa Big Fish (Curitiba), do Blacklist Rooftop (São Paulo), além também de seu projeto Techno de Rua (São Paulo).

WOHJ is graduated in event management and DJ, besides being a supporter to artistic and cultural interventions in public locations in São Paulo. Founder of the projects Techno de Rua and Por Trás da Cena Podcast, he's constantly searching for tracks that goes beyond the conventional, blending hypnotic vocals, african percussions, percussive rhythms, striking bass and thus bringing a refined repertoire search to the dancefloor. He has been accumulating excellent exhibitions at major events throughout Brazil, highlighting some of his gigs in 2018 at Virada Cultural de SP, in 2019 at Festival do Cerrado in Uberlândia and SP na Rua, a project with the São Paulo's government support. More recently at Shakti Festival in São Thomé das Letras (MG) at the alternative stage. WOHJ is a resident at the Camden Town stage of Big Fish party (Curitiba), at Blacklist Rooftop (São Paulo), and at his own project Techno de Rua (São Paulo).

This is my tribute to Abhijith Hegde, also known as Weird Sounding Dude. He's renowned as one of India's most captivating progressive house artists, pushing the boundaries of the genre with his unique productions.

Based in Bangalore, he isn't just a music producer and DJ; he's a pillar of the underground dance music scene. His trademark chuggy grooves and squelchy rhythms consistently satisfy his audience, and there are always a few unexpected twists along the way.

Much like many artists, his passion went beyond DJ'ing. He embarked on a journey to prove himself as a self-taught producer, drawing inspiration from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, Nathan Flake, and Worakls.
