Silk Music is thrilled to present Silk Music Showcase 06, the sixth installment of the series, once again mixed by Jacob Henry and Tom Fall. The compilation is inspired by our weekly radio show of the same name, which is co-hosted by Jacob and Tom, as well as Johan Vilborg, Jayeson Andel, Vintage & Morelli, & Terry Da Libra. Reaching international listeners on Proton Radio, Digitally Imported, and other radio platforms, Silk Music Showcase recently reached its 400th episode (http://www.silkmusicshowcase.com) and now often ranks amongst the Top 100 Music Podcasts in the USA on iTunes.

Carefully selected to represent the sound of our radio show (and, more generally, our label), the songs included in the compilation range from the more pensive and melancholic shades of progressive to the more club-oriented, peak-hour material we tend to play at the end of our radio show mixes and live sets. Many of the artists are seasoned veterans of the SMS compilation series; there are also numerous first-time contributors to this year's compilation, many of whom have asserted themselves as leading talents in trance & progressive in just the past year.

Kamron's work on Emergent are top-notch and becoming one of the well-known progressive artists. Starting to release on other labels, Summer Melody is honoured to present his signature sounds and beautiful melodies, Hidden Beauty is one of them. The atmospheric touch of the piano pairs up with the lushful arp, alongside with a bass-driven uplifting vibe. On the remixes, Adam Sein put his own twist into the original, keeping the uplifting elements with new alterations on the chords and a balearic feeling of the lead melody, and a calming guitar-based breakdown. myni8hte provides a slightly deeper, more atmospheric and widened touch, and includes with new vocal elements and chills.

We welcome back a familiar face to Progressive Dreams with Ciree who brings us a wonderful EP, Feel Alive! Ciree, or Eric Bunschoten from the Netherlands is fast becoming a rising progressive producer within the scene and known for his melodic driven tracks full of energy and beautiful harmonious melodies and he is a great storyteller. He also takes great care to shape his sound every step of the way, from his studio room to liaising with our engineers to get that final sound just right. 

Ciree delivers two tracks here, Feel Alive and The dreamer! Feel Alive is just bursting with great energy, very positive sounds and a thumping beat with such a great rhythm. Its hook is beautifully crafted and the whole track is a joy to listen to. 

The Dreamer is another truly beautiful progressive track full of gorgeous sounds, with such a great vibe and a heavenly hook accompanied by elegant piano. It's a blissfully beautiful track and when the main leads come in, it takes you away. We love it!
