Something about me:

Mena aka Anna Medve is born in Germany. Music has always been a passion of her because would be empty the life without music. 
She is not a professional DJ and starts late end of 2016 with the age of 62 as hobby. She plays only at home.
2013 she founds love for Progressive House Music, every kind of House Music, Techno but fallen in love to Trance. She listened on soundcloud as supporter to all kinds of music, on mixcloud and the internet radio Mixlr. 
At the end of 2016 she tried to put together sets by herself and used first only the software VDJ. 
She played on different Internet Radios guest sets like DI.FM on Oliver Planeix Minimal Madness, cuebase-fm, clubio.net, Future Beats Radio, Reykjavik Underground, Wamfm, most on Mixlr and now as Resident Dj (Dj Mena) on www.futurebeatsradio.com 
In early 2019 she tried to mix live with a controller on Mixlr and now it is her greatest passion to mix by herself.

Music that defines me, made with love for people to forget and move!

In 2002, Marçal Prats released his first techno-house remix of London singer and actress Linda John-Pierre's song 'Night People' by The Cat & Mr. Cool. During the mixing and mastering process, he meets the prestigious DJ, producer, and radio host David Gausa (@davidgausa). Marçal began a long collaboration as a graphic designer for Gausa's brand-new house music label, Sutil Records (@sutilrecords-sutilvox). 

Twenty years later, Marçal continues combining his role as a graphic designer with his devotion to music production. As he works on new productions, he has released a series of DJ mixes where he brings together the tracks that have influenced him since the turn of the century.

Marçal started his interest in electronic music in the 80s, fascinated by High-Energy, Italo-Dance, and its hypnotic arpeggiated baselines. He was soon seduced by the birth of House Music and the crunchy 303 analog sounds of Acid-House. In the mid-90s, during his first visit to London, he was again seduced by Drum&Bass, Big Beat, and IDM. In the first half of the 2000s, Progressive House came to stay as his favourite electronic style.

I experienced my first contact with EDM through a Happy-Hardcore-CD of my brother, which I came across by accident. I was fascinated by the speed and intensity of that genre. Through Sven Väth's "L'Esperanza" I got introducted to Trance and via Richie Hawtin's Remix of System 7's "Alpha Wave" to Techno. 1996 I had my early Club-/Rave experiences, which induced me to buy my first records. I started playing at private parties, till I eventually had my premiere rave gig in 1997. Together with my brother I'm also deejaying b2b (Da Brothers gonna work it out / Daniele d'Agnelli vs. Dyrtsta).

I always try not to submit myself to any stylistic boundaries. The audience always decides where the journey goes to.
