When the combination is good, then it should not be changed. Already known duo from The Purr rooster, Fakir and Chrono, teamed up again to create this deep, a bit dark, and trippy house track. Totally different from what we used to hear from these lads, but yet again unique, as it should be. "Unrius" EP, beside their stellar original, has two remixes, one from debut artist, Andrew Becks, who showed class skills with the "Unrius" re-interpretation and a truly deep house soul, all the way from Mar Del Plata, Sebbe, whose remix is a treat for all deep house souls all over the world!

The Do Not Sit on the Furniture label returns with more of its cultural and adventurous house music, this time courtesy of Modd. The Russian duo hail from Volgograd and have released on the likes of Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream, so are well known as fine and emotive musical craftsmen. 

Opener Flying Buddha is a spine tingling number with deep, warm drums overlaid with majestic keys and chords. It's a real trip into melancholic moods and is the sort of lush track that sinks you into a reverie. 

The excellent Vishaya is next up and has harder hitting kicks and metallic percussion, but the sustained and thoughtful piano chords and rolling groove overall still serve to take you far away from everyday life. 

Last of all is the beautiful Retba, with more mind melting pads and organic xylophone melodies filling up the space above the drums with real emotion. 

This is a fantastic EP that brings plenty of class to deep house.

Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint returns with a fresh collaborative project from Bigasti & Balad. Based in Belgium and making his label debut is Bigasti. The Brussels resident lays claim to an impressive discography, highlighted by releases on Dream Culture, Lost Diaries and Steyoyoke. Calling Sydney home and also making his label debut is Balad. The Australian artist has showcased his music on AMITABHA, Lost Diaries, Parquet and RYNTH, where his dreamy take on deep house has flourished. Now presenting their debut collaborations, Bigasti and Balad make their Sound Avenue debut with ‘The Days’.
