And we’re officially done with 2024….. somewhat!

Man, what a year this was. From my collab with Rukku, to “20XX” and “Time to Leave”, to even my “Shapeshifter” EP on INVIBES as well as quite a few other label releases (New Game, Euphonix, Shuttle Recs AUX)… and who could forget the charity megacollab known as HUNDREDFOLD over on Crossover for Charity? There were lots of amazing tracks I made this year, and I’m really grateful for all of your guys’ support over the past twelve months on these tunes!

However, we’re not done yet… some big things are coming real soon!

Let me explain; around August/September, Neoluminum announced a remix contest where artists could remix any song listed. I ended up remixing three songs and bringing some Color Trance flavoring to them. Out of the three, two of them won…. Technically. More info will come about this later on, so follow me on Instagram and join my Discord if you want to keep up on this, I’ll provide more info when I can! Also thanks Neoluminum for the support on the remixes!

In the meantime, enjoy this remix that didn’t make the cut… a melodic, “Shapeshifter”-esque version of ESKVY’s banger “Cryostructure”! Been keeping an eye on this guy since I heard about him from a friend earlier this year. I even supported his “BACK2ROOTS” EP (which you should all go check out if you haven’t already!) over on Unity Radio. However, this version takes ESKVY’s deep, dark original and turns it into a climatic, colorful bass trance version with twists and turns around every corner. While this one didn’t win, I’m really proud of this one and I hope you all enjoy listening to this as much as I did making this one! Huge thank you to ESKVY and Neolunium for holding the remix contest!

Some exciting stuff to come real soon, but I can’t give out too much info yet. I hope you stay tuned during the next year, things are only just starting to get interesting! Thank you again for everything this year, I love you all so much!

This track almost became a memory, lost forever on an old hard drive. It was born during the height of the "hip hop is dead" debates—a time when the culture felt divided, with old school clashing against new school. I understood the frustration but saw no solutions being offered, just endless back-and-forth arguments. Back then, I was grinding, trying to help my homies and homegirls break into the industry. Honestly, thank God it didn’t work. Who knows? We might’ve ended up at a white party, covered in baby oil! LOL.

Fast forward to today: I decided to remix this song and take a leap of faith to see if it connects with anyone. Sharing my music is a huge risk, especially after the trauma I’ve been through recently. But the love and support from around the world mean more to me than I can say. I love you all, and most importantly, Jesus loves you more! Thank you for listening.

From the heart of Houston's vibrant music scene emerges the DeVrone, a multi-genre virtuoso whose eclectic blend of Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Christian, EDM, and Experimental sounds captivates and inspires. Classically trained as a vocalist during his high school years, the DeVrone's musical journey began in earnest when he started producing tracks and recording seriously in college. His early career saw him touring as a dynamic vocalist with various bands and singing groups, highlighted by a regional hit single with Passionate Storm in the late '90s.

Over the years, the DeVrone has honed his craft behind the scenes, writing and producing for numerous Houston-based rap artists in the early 2000s. Although he took a step back to focus on family and a separate career, music continued to play a significant role in his life as a passionate hobbyist. Following a deeply personal transformation spurred by a traumatic divorce, the DeVrone has re-emerged in the public eye, channeling his profound life experiences into his music.
