It is time to welcome a bunch of new names to our PHW imprint, and we are thrilled and excited to unleash the young UK based producer, Jordan Hubbard and his Mathaden moniker. Being a name, that’s been seen more frequently the past 6 months, he now brings on another top notch production with us on PHW, called “Serene”.The youngsters true talent to build melodic hooks shines through here, when he unleash this melodic monster.On remix duty, you will face 3 different remixes from friends around us. First up is a newcomer on PHW but definitely not on the progressive house scene. Being a part of the well-known producing act Answer42, it is with great pleasure that we have tied up a pure mint production from the always stunning Nap’Till Nine, also the owner of the great Dutch label NRG Dance Records.He brings on some fabulous chopped vocals, a groovier rhythm and an overall tasty interpretation with great textures and smooth harmonies built together, stunning work.The 2nd remix comes from returning artist and someone we are truly happy we gave a shoot some time ago when signing his first record deal to our record label, PHW. Nico Schinco is a name that is here to stay, we are so certain of that and we will continue to have him on the label and help him build his reputation. With his crisp sound design, this time with great pads and super smooth plucks, he takes on Jordans original and builds a great re-take of some of the ideas to his own, we are hooked.The 3rd and final remix comes from another young producer, based in the US. Adam Dopierala, more known from his Airdrop alias, has joined us to bring his touch on this magic ride. We can’t say anything less than that we feel he has succeeded without a doubt.Bringing on the full artillery of melodic hooks and arpeggios, he for sure gives us a great journey here. A smooth bassline works well in addition to them, and with crisp and punchy kicks, he for sure has nailed it for us, and we feel we have a strong as ever package ready for you through PHW, go get it!

Hello again, Happy New Year to everyone out there.

After another hectic year, another big project for me personally awaited as 2015 began. Somethng I know many of you anticipate every single year - the Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase. 

I can't believe that this would be the tenth edition.

When I was growing up and getting lost in music on the radio, some of my fondest memories involved listening to all the classic songs that would be played, particularly on New Year's Day. So the idea of doing a classics showcase once a year on GDJB was born out of those feelings.

It's always one of the most mentally challenging and emotionally demanding sets to put together, because somehow you want to create a journey that will be magical for everyone to listen to - regardless of how long you have been listening to all things electronica. For many of you, there will be a whole host of iconic tracks you will be hearing for the first time, and maybe even unearthed gems for the more seasoned folk.

So hopefully there is a nice spread of years represented throughout, and this is something that will resonate with you for some time to come. As a new year dawns, we can take a moment to celebrate the tunes and moments that define our era.

Hope you have a wonderful 2015, and hope even more that we can create some magical memories together.
