It's already 6 months since my Spirtual Gospel Mix and I wanted to share some more of the Gospel goodness. The emphasis is on great spiritual music and present a selection that you are most likely unfamiliar with. I find it insane that these tunes exist but most people are somewhat oblivious of them, because usually they are very local and kinda rare and not a lot of people make the effort of putting them together in a mix. Much respect to the people that do like Greg Belson,  DJ Darryn, Al-Tone and Red Greg. 

I'll try to make a playlist for the mix in the next coming days for those of you who are interested. Best watch my instagram for that.

Natasha Kitty Katt has been lighting up dancefloors across the globe with her energetic and eclectic brand of underground disco.

It’s been a tough couple of years, but Natasha Kitty Katt put the get down into lockdown & set herself up with a green screen & Starship Enterprise DJ set up. She launched herself into the livestream format creating her own unique cut up video edits with her usual style, good humour and above all fantastic music choices. You can catch her livestreams for legendary platforms & clubs including: Traxsource, Juno, Quantize, Djoon, & Jackie’s Festival, plus her stand out interview for Studio 54 FM on Sirius XM by Marc and Myra.

During this time Natasha also focused on producing more works for her Ghetto Disco record laabel and remixing for others such as Leee John (IMAGINGATION), Albertine Sarges, D.C LaRue & DJ Rae.

Regarding her first love on the decks Natasha picked up where she left off and has been lighting up dance floors across the globe with her energetic and eclectic brand of underground disco and cosmic house. She played this year’s sold-out Soul Heaven stage at Forbidden Forrest, Brixton Jamm, Playground Festival, Glades of Glory & Night Tales to name a few.

Born and raised in Edinburgh into a soul music obsessed family, Natasha was introduced to rare Soul, Funk, Boogie and Rare Disco from a young age.

Spotted by the main influencers in the Disco & House scene Natasha quickly took up residency at seminal events such as: Southport Weekender / Festival, UK, Suncebeat Festival, Croatia, Soul Heaven, Ocean Beach Ibiza, Pikes Ibiza. Following on from this, Natasha Kitty Katt was soon snapped up by the Defected Glitterbox imprint and is now playing at their Global Events around the world. 

Matching her meteoric rise in clubland her releases have gained interest with tracks out on: Glitterbox recordings, Quantize, Ghetto Disco Records, Tropical Disco Records, Midnight Riot, No Fuss Records, Masterworks Music, Paper Recordings, Tribe, Situationism (Tom Findlay – Groove Armada Remix), Louie Vega MAW has reworked two of her tracks on Nervous records. She also runs her own label, Ghetto Disco records focused on high quality disco & house music.

Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy is a highly respected and experienced musical selector and curator, founder of the album listening event and content hub Classic Album Sundays and an authority on music, sound and the vinyl renaissance.

She was mentored by David Mancuso at his seminal Loft parties in New York City. Together they co-produced the compilation series David Mancuso Presents The Loft and worked together on David’s record label The Loft Audiophile Library of Music. In 2000, David told Time Out New York City “ She is very devoted and very pure about the music. She’s one of the only people I would trust, both with the music and with the equipment, to fill in for me.” She is one of the musical hosts at The Loft, the co-founder of the Lucky Cloud Loft parties in London and DJs internationally on the world’s best sound systems and dance floors.

Classic Album Sundays tells the stories behind the albums that have shaped our culture and in some cases, our lives. Colleen founded Classic Album Sundays as a stance against the increasing devaluation of music and sound. What began as a passion project is now the world’s most popular album listening event with satellites in four continents and the website and social media channels host content on classic albums and artists such as interviews, videos, playlists and more.  BBC Breakfast Television remarked, “Classic Album Sundays treat our best-loved records like great symphonies.”

She has been a radio host and DJ since the age of fourteen and today hosts Balearic Breakfast, Cosmodelica and Classic Album Sundays Worldwide on Worldwide FM. She also wrote, co-produced and hosted the Classic Album Sundays series ‘This Women’s Work’ for PRX, ‘Sounds of a City’ series on BBC 6 Music and ‘Turntable Tales’ on BBC Radio 4.

She has put together her own compilations including New York Afterhours ‘A Later Shade of Deep’ for Nervous Records and The Disco-Tech of DJ Cosmo’ for Yellow Recordings. Her latest compilation, ‘Balearic Breakfast Volume 1’ is coming out on Heavenly Recordings on the 10th of June and can be pre-ordered here.

As a producer Colleen has remixed Roisin Murphy, Mildlife, Hard Feelings, A Certain Ratio, Secret Night Gang, The Rapture, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Beardyman, Candi Staton, Two Bears, Phenomenal Handclap Band, Cantoma, Horace Andy, Chaka Khan & more under her Cosmodelica moniker and as DarkStarr Diskotek with Ashley Beedle. Along with former Captain Beefheart guitarist Gary Lucas, she recorded and produced as Wild Rumpus.

@BenSpaldingOfficial is a highly creative DJ, Producer, Record Label Owner and the man behind PuzzleProjectsGroup - which includes @PuzzleProjectsMusic, @PuzzledParties and several other highly progressive underground brands.

A Londoner now based in Oslo, Norway, Ben has managed & performed at music events in 35 countries over the last decade including Coachella Festival in California. 

Musically, Ben grew up on a diet of motown, soul and disco from his Mum and classical music via his Dad, while in his teenage years he discovered the raw power of hip hop and drum’n’bass. His 20s were then a riot of disco, house and techno. All of these flavours coalesce into his current output and the eclectic sounds that emerge from his record abel @PuzzleProjectsMusic.

2019 proved to be a huge year for Ben as bookings for him as a solo act and @PuzzledParties shows took him on a 19-country world tour in nine months, playing sell-out shows across Europe, Asia & Australia.

While his 2020 touring schedule has been put on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Plans are in place for the summer and winter of 2021, which will see him go on a USA, Mexico & Canada tour followed by a debut tour in South America and return tour of Asia and many more locations to be confirmed.

2021 sees Ben release multiple high energy, peak-time orientated house and techno music with renowned Berlin-based musician & co-producer @RonaldChristoph - kicking off with ‘The Ego Death’ EP in April 2021.
