Reckoning Records, a vanguard in the electronic music scene, is thrilled to announce the release of “Oxygen 49,” a mesmerizing new EP from the label boss Hasan Ghazi, set to launch on January 19, 2024. This progressive house masterpiece encapsulates the essence of deep, rhythmic beats and cultural melodies, promising to be a seminal release in the electronic music genre.

“Oxygen 49” is a collection of three tracks that showcase Hasan Ghazi’s unique approach to progressive house music. The EP opens with the ‘Original Mix,’ a track characterized by its deep and groovy bassline that compels listeners to dance from the first note. The track is a journey through sound, with a carefully crafted middle eastern style synth that teases throughout its progression. As the track unfolds, notes cascade in and out, leading to a breakdown where the full melody is introduced, weaving a tapestry of instant nostalgia. Deep Middle Eastern motifs dominate the soundscape, culminating in a drop where the melody and bass merge to transcend listeners to new auditory heights.

Following the Original Mix, Katoff Remix takes the stage with an interpretation that infuses more energy into the track. Its more aggressive bassline and drums, while retaining the magic of the original, impart a sense of urgency and movement that is both refreshing and invigorating.

Completing the trio, the Zy Khan Remix offers an exquisite afterhours rendition of the track. Zy Khan’s mastery is evident in his progressive house style, slowly teasing the melody into a beautiful breakdown, followed by a drop that encapsulates the essence of late-night dance floors.

Di Rugerio presents his single titled One Step Away From Immensity, celebrating another year of life with a truly epic track with a simple analog bassline and a powerful kickdrum that align with an atmospheric pad with shades of darkness from the beginning and also make an appareance the vocal of the same sound creator with reflective feelings of life. In the drummachine, hats, shakers and percussions are added, creating a minimalist but rhythmic base that in turn, heartbreaking Moog riffs come forth with a simple sequence where the cutoff filters are modified each time they appear. Once reaching the break, the atmospheric pads increase in intensity, creating a dramatic and immense sonic feeling returning explosively to the minimalist base with the deep riffs of the Moog and thus the modified voice of Di Rugerio continues with his reflections of a sublime life:
