I started learning music production in FL Studio and DJing when I was 11. However it wasn’t until 10 years later that I started with my psy/minimal techno project called KODA, after a series of travels around the globe, in which I discovered a bunch of new electronic music subgenres like psytrance, minimal techno, psytech, etc. 

I came back to my home country inspired to start a new musical journey. Not so long after that, I was starting to get tracks and
 EPs signed by labels like Joker Black, AMPED and Attack, just to name a few. And approximately 1 year later, after some hard work in the studio, I was starting to sign with labels that I’d dreamt of being part of, for example Techgnosis, Alpaka and Subios.

Today I’ve got plenty of music in the making and also a lot of signed tracks and EP’s waiting to be released on different labels such as  Techgnosis, Alpaka, Joker Black, and many more, so stay tuned!

Berlin-based producer Kaufmann unveils her powerful new single “Mother” on VOLTA Records. This evocative release is accompanied by two standout remixes from Tao Andra and Mila Journeé, each bringing a distinct vibe to the energetic original.

“The vocal is undoubtedly at the centre of the track,” Kaufmann explains. “I took inspiration from a well-known System of a Down track and placed the mother at the heart of the story. It's actually my own voice, which I processed with AI, among other tools. I wanted to combine the energies of my favourite genres: techno with some psy and a pinch of metal."

Tao Andra’s remix takes the track into hypnotic, tribal-influenced techno terrain, while Mila Journeé lends her signature melodic touch with a cinematic, driving reinterpretation.

“This is my second time releasing with VOLTA Records,” says Mila Journeé. “The first was a two-track EP that did really well, and now I'm back with a remix of a really cool track by Kaufmann, at the invitation of Victor, a great friend and production partner who I love working with. So it's all about good music, friendship and good vibes!”

Michael Chaos began his DJ career 20 years ago. He dedicated much of those years to mixing Garage Rock, Psych Rock, Surf Punk, Krautrock, Post Punk, Shoegaze, and Alternative Rock, having released several mixes for labels. 

Michael Chaos is his new project, launched a year ago, and focuses primarily on Minimal Techno, Psytech, and Psytrance. His mixes reflect his passion for dark atmospheres, chaotic sounds, massive basslines with great depth, and minimalist, hypnotic drum grooves that maintain perfect synchronization between the bass and leads. 

He's currently creating numerous sick reels to enhance his music through visual effects to promote his mixes, as well as the music of his colleagues and labels he loves.
