Milan-based collective Just This are proud to present ​X​ - a compilation celebrating ten years at the outer reaches of ambient, melodic techno. Featuring contributions from Just This family and friends, the twenty-track release will be available July 10.

Since launching in 2010 as an event series, Just This has grown to function as a record label and collective governed by community spirit and a mutual interest in the more abstract spheres of techno. Having presented over thirty releases across a ten year period, they have worked with an extensive list of acclaimed artists at the vanguard of electronic music.

Following their success as one of the first parties in Italy to book more melodic strains of techno, the collective has retained a commitment to bringing abstract sonic explorations to a wider audience. As one of the first to host artists like Tale Of Us in Milan, the Just This parties expanded to curate events across Europe and beyond, bringing with them a number of artists whose careers have since skyrocketed.

With this compilation, they celebrate the wide range of aesthetic pursuits that have underscored their intentions from the start. Tense atmospherics and murky frequencies are offset with crystalline ambient wanderings and brief moments of euphoria. Spatial manipulations carve new sonic frontiers as the boundaries between psychedelia and lucidity blur into abstract forms. At times rough, at others meditative, the compilation is underscored by a shared aesthetic belief in the weird and wonderful.

X​ includes tracks from ​Hunter/Game, Mind Against, Extrawelt, Eduardo De La Calle, Alex Smoke, Sterac, Yotam Avni ​and​ Woo York,​ amongst many others, and functions as both a celebration of the collective, and a testament to the value of community and collaboration.

Welcome to twenty-fifth Project 13 release. the German duo Stil & Bense present two original melodic techno tracks. This new Ep is called 'Soft Core' and includes two importants remixes by the French duo Abstraal and the German Matthias Schuell.

Soft core tells the story of a journey to the core of a gigantic machine. It sounds and looks strange at first hand, even chilling from a distance. But the closer you get and the more you understand how it works, the more you realize the beauty of all the different parts, wires and circuits working together. If you get to the core, you get to know the basic principle, the core algorithm, which is the key to a deeper understanding of the whole machine. As you move away, the whole thing has changed and you see it in a new light, you have a different understanding of the machine, even of yourself and your surroundings. In a way, it’s also an analogy to a good club track. It has to have a soul, a core that is open to interpretation, communication, emotion.

A whirling panoply of sounds finds Aio returning to familiar waters with a "Malstrom" of new ideas from the Leipzig Bay. Powerful rhythms and unrelenting arpeggio rise and fall. Frothing waters spew new phrases that catch on the wind and scatter in all directions that criss-cross the stereo spectrum in dizzying unrelenting fashion. Travelling north-east to the Berlin capital, Kaldera revisits Mango Alley with analogue mastery and melodic innovation. Familiar patterns emerge from the "Malstrom" to create a powerful musical vortex that tingles with bassline emotion and hints at stranger things.

A force to be reckoned with from the pearl of the Indian Ocean, Subandrio continues to navigate turbulent waters with ease. Rhythmic flair and bassline dominance provide familiar character before a "Malstrom" arrives in shimmering patterns where subtle new melodies rise out of the whirlpool to glitter and sparkle in the sunlight. Across the Atlantic Ocean, Allies For Everyone dominate Manhattan skylines. A new "Malstrom" of intent creates a turbulent wave of white noise as a force of nature reveals itself in memorable melodic tropes. Driving rhythms propel the musical storm and syncopated phrases fade into the sonic distance slowly evaporating like diffused water droplets.

Remcord brings his signature deep, atmospheric take on the title track Lost Lore, which has already gained support and recognition from some of the worlds leading artists.
