1st Song of a 6 Song release!

The theme of this collection was to try my best to write something in the "Doom 2016" soundtrack genre using some new tools I've added to my arsenal.

I strayed a bit, and took some artistic liberties to try some stuff, and I had a lot of fun writing this music.

The pacing is supposed to be pretty modular - idea being that if placed into a game setting, the sections could be programmed to loop each section based on what's going on.   At least, that was my thought process.

I got a bit stuck mixing, and lost a lot of creative momentum around the final 2 songs - but I think they've turned around a bit - definitely some learning to do when it comes to mixing and mastering, but I feel like I've made some progress with this release.

Definitely a lot of imperfections in here, but overall I am proud of how it's turned out, all things considered.

It's been a lot of fun to write - especially making use of my lower-tuned guitars, but I think my next release will be a little more chill haha!

Name's Tristan, or Butch, or 'Cast Iron Pan' depending on where I meet ya lol, too many nicknames these days.

I am going to try a lot of different genres here - this project is mostly going to be me experimenting and learning the DAWs and other tools.

Keeping it simple with very simple tools as well - everything is self-produced and live tracked with real instruments (mostly), all manned by yours truly.

AND yeah I know the art is super shoddy at the moment lmao - that's kinda the point but It should get better later.
