I miss you when I  try to sleep
When I’m laying awake
Unable to rest because the roaring thoughts in my head are too loud

I miss you when I wake up
The feeling of you next to me
The warmth of your body and the comfort that followed

I miss you when I cry
When the tears fall down my cheek
And all I want to do is be next to you

I miss you
I miss everything about you
But it’s gone now and I need to move on   
But I miss you…
