Based in Bristol, Ekto a.k.a. @erst-dj is a producer & DJ that takes the sounds of 90s rave and hardcore and twists them into new shapes - his productions can take influence from anything from the dubbed out grooves of bleep techno to full throttle jungle breakbeat chaos. In collaboration with @hartta, “The Happy Hardcore Hit of the Summer” takes the euphoric fairground stabs and diva vocals of happy hardcore, and sends them in a darker direction.
