Vortex Ascent (formerly Soki2u) is a loose federation of solo independent musicians based in various countries, but primarily UK. Our EPs received excellent reviews, notably on Indie-Music.com and Somojo.net and many of the tracks have reached No 1 on various unsigned charts in the UK and in Japan. We have also won awards, one for a single and one for an EP. Our 2013 album is being produced mainly by Andy Rugg, who for many years was on the Coldplay engineering team, and one of the tracks is co-written by respected producer/musician Paddy Bush.
