Dr. Christopher Zed has been a lifelong practitioner of dental healthcare, achieving more than 30 years of experience in and around the industry. His primary experience has been his work as a clinical professor at UBC. There, he was responsible for educating multiple generations of dental healthcare professionals. He was in this position for more than 25 years before transitioning to be chief of dentistry with the General Hospital. after a decade in administration, he has since moved to his own private practice - Bayview Lonsdale Dental. It's his pride and joy to work closely with patients in order to provide the most informed and patient-centered care possible.

Throughout his career, Dr. Zed has always stood confidently in the face of adversity. His personal mission is to provide excellent care to his patients, regardless of the difficulties that stand in his way. In fact, according to Dr. Christopher Zed, “it only energizes me to persevere and never play the victim.” Dr. Zed understands that growth comes from adversity, and he embraces the changes in his life that have happened due to overcoming obstacles. This sentiment has allowed him to pursue a rich career in dentistry, as his can-do spirit pushes him to succeed.

Dr. Christopher Zed has spent several decades in the field of dentistry. Previously, he was a Clinical Professor at UBC, as well as Chief of Dentistry at Vancouver General Hospital. Now, he is a Dental Surgeon at his practice, while also holding the role of Principal Associate at Apna Dental Vancouver and Delta. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on a variety of subjects, including oral cancer and community dentistry. Dr. Zed has also served as the Olympic Chief of Dentistry for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. While in this role, he spoke about the necessity of proper dental care for athletes.
