All sounds contained within are home-made/DIY recordings. Most songs are short stories, as I am influenced by Musicians & Writers like Raymond Carver, Warren Zevon, Mountain Goats, Tom Waits, Mark Eitzel,  Randy Newman, Destroyer, Steely Dan, Captain Beefheart, Loudon Wainwright III, Leonard Cohen & The National. Project I-la-rI is a one-man experimental music project from Turku, Finland. The tunes are all original pieces composed by Ilari I. Rantala. The project began in 2015.

Hello my friends and welcome to my cloud! I play all the instruments in my music (unless noted otherwise in the song), sing, write the lyrics and deal with the aftermath myself. The tracks are recorded and produced with minimal equipment in my home, other places that are qualified as homes and in the field with a portable recorder.
