Notes from the Creator:

"I recorded this one shot, live on a very difficult day. In 1998, I first started having panic attacks. The only thing that would help would be to sit and listen to ambient music. It would bring me to life. I think that after all that time of making music, the ultimate goal would be to make music to soothe me. 

In 2016 when my father passed away, I recorded music everyday for 8 months. It kept me sane and I ended up making a 2h long ambient album that was a first catharsis. Today I feel will be listening to this with a positive memory. I find that I explored from subtle spaces to more intense moments."

"A listening experience designed for headphones. Using 3D/ambisonic recordings of nature and perspectival spaces. Close your eyes. Try to listen to the details while being in the moment.

In order to grasp the relationship of the sounds and perceive them as they pass. 
A sense of presence shall envelop you, and as your memory moves quickly and time narrows, you will be moved in one direction.
 
Lastly, I hope this sound journey resonates with your imagination."

Debbie Doe - Un passage

Hi and welcome to the 9th track by "Then She Reaches For The Gun". Its Titled Portogruaro (12,000 B.C Blues). Its a tribute (as a lot of my work is) to Luigi Russolo and features extended Intonarumori playing. For change there are only 5 artists on this track, compared to the normal 15 or so! 

The next piece will be the final track before releasing an album and putting the project on hold for a little while. This may take a little while as I would like to try and write something that features every single contributor to this project somehow. That’s around 60 people (and several dogs and cats) ! Thanks to each and every person who has sent me files for this, its been such a creative endeavour full of chance and surprise. So many talented people have been involved!

Background 
The project’s inspiration is two fold: Firstly its a homage to some of the stuff i grew up listening to like Mr. Bungle and other noisy bastards where anything goes, and often in quick fire succession and secondly it” a chance to work with an never ending stream of talented musicians that i have known for years either in real life Australia or via the Internet. Each track will no doubt change depending on who has sent me what.
