Project Number 1 are a 4 piece hailing from the precipitous industrial town of Warrington. Best described as Indie Rock, the band have developed their sound from their early  poppy style to a more rock influenced heavy sound. 

Comparisons over the years have included The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Oasis, and more recently the Foo Fighters.
