"Rasta Love has a very deep emotional feel to it. To me it’s much more than just a story about love, but a story about how Rastafarians are viewed in our culture, and how people attach a stigma just because of a lifestyle that is different from theirs. The vibe of the song is very strong and has a lot of passion behind it, and I felt the need to have something that looks very iconic and matches that feel.
The image of a young black woman, with her hair in the process of locking and untamed breaths out fire as if she was blowing a kiss. “Fire was burning and burning to let out what she was holding in.” That fire, being the passion that she has, and that fire being an essence of life and love, is shaped in the form of a rasta man. She breaths out her love, and the image of that love is formed because she cannot see him due to her fathers restriction on her seeing him. The artwork, just like the song is one of passion."

Slightly Stoopid announce the official release of Slightly Stoopid & Friends "Live At Roberto’s” TRI Studios 9.13.11....   It was an honor being invited by the Grateful Dead and Furthur's Bob Weir into his state of the art TRI Studios. Built by our friends at Meyer Sound Labs, and utilizing the technology of their new Constellation sound system, Slightly Stoopid had the privilege to invite some of their close friends and family down to "Roberto's" TRI clubhouse for an unprecedented live webcast and in-studio performance.... 

Our good friend Tommy Chong came down and hosted the event and provided some "Wisdom".  Our extended family of musical guests joining us and playing on the session, features Karl Denson, Ivan and Ian Neville of Dumpstaphunk, Don Carlos, and Bob Weir himself!  

The result is a 31 song / 2 set acoustic and electric performance including behind the scenes rehearsal footage, and a rare interview segment moderated by Tommy Chong.

Last but not least, a portion of all proceeds will go to the benefit 2 charitable organizations whom the band supports: Save the Children and World Food Programme

Project Out of Bounds is a progressive reggae-fusion band that has been shocking California venues for the last handful of years.  In a musical age where success is manifested through kissing ass and blasting social media sites, P.O.B. is the band that lets their art speak for itself.  Their music is creative, edgy, and hip.  After blowing away the headliner with their humble opening slot, they let the audience decide for themselves if they should join the fan-base, or “army” as the band refers to it.
Hailing from San Diego, they have made their presence felt throughout California. This band can ace the art of roots, dancehall, and dub, while continuing their focus on versatility.
Their style can compared with the likes of other California reggae groups such as Tribal Seeds, Rebelution, or Seedless.  In between the reggae structure, listeners may find anything from metal to dubstep or hip-hop to progressive rock.  Pretty much any genre that can keep the dance floor hot while maintaining the desire to inspire.
New music with inspirations of classic reggae in the cracks, and a dash of thrash in your face is what makes up Project: Out of Bounds. This band strives to progress the genre while many are content with imitation.
