Dat Vila was born on a cold December 26, 1980.
After countless musical studies at the Bologna conservatory,
he graduated in Sax, piano and music theory with full marks.
To enter inside the world of Bpm, was the strong passion for music
and the immense desire to discover different genres and sounds, after diving in full in classical studies and having played Jazz music for years and years, 
in various orchestras.
The dream of wearing headphones started on 2000.
From there Dat Vila starts working in the world of night with his strongest passion: HOUSE MUSIC. 
It was an exhilarating musical journey inside the Djing and an unforgettable trip to Ibiza to give life to the Dj name: "Dat Vila".
The island hit him so much, stylistically and musically, that he wanted to appropriate this name, (minimally modified and referred to the Eivissa fortress), from want to pay him a tribute.
But not only that, the name took a new turn strictly personal (
from DALT VILLA which is the name of the fortress, at DAT VILA):
DAT: it was the format with which he recorded the very first DJ sets
VILA: abbreviation, of one of the DJs always loved and followed 
(Ricardo Vilalobos).
Dat Vila after 20 years of experience, represents a very versatile boy musically, in constant ferment, but which nourishes a love and an undisputed passion for House music, Elektro & Tech: Rafa Barrios, Carlo Lio, Rene Amesz, Dennis Cruz, are his reference points,
But also the much loved House Classic & Soulfull declaring an eternal and immense devotion to the DEFECTED and GLITTERBOX.
He was the first resident DJ in one of the strongest clubs in Rome and the best known on the planet: The QUBE, for 8 years. 
Saturday was instead a FREE LANCE DJ throughout Italy and not (also Sofia- Madrid-Barcelona). In addition to various projects by DJs, he also went on radio for two years, venturing as a speaker in his own "Play It Loud" program.
He currently continues his Free Lance Dj activity and works within music too as a producer, dedicating most of his days to creating records, remixes that concern him and 300% of his style.
For two years now the musical presence at a flagship party in Florence on Thursday evening: BOSSY.
He later created his DAT VILA's NIGHT, (“HYPE”) which offers 100% all his style and his musical influences for a set of 6 hours every Saturday night.
In 2017 he released his first unpublished e.p in full Tech style,
after signing an exit contract with Presslab Records, a label that collaborated with the major foreign labels and who exported his works and artists to Spain, Hungary, Portugal, Amsterdam, Berlin.
Subsequently he landed with his very successful "LUNAR PLANS e.p" in the URBANGROOVE RECORDS of Rome, to then also sign his second and recent ep "WITH YOU".
Today Dat Vila is a full time DJ producer as well as still being a free lance DJ,
and in addition to the collaboration with URBANGROOVE RECORDS, it has also landed with its productions in the DEEP TECH LAB RECORDS (USA) with which he signed his new single "THE SOLUTION" and other many singles, and in DEEP HYPE SOUNDS (USA)with his Classic House Track "FEEL THAT FEELING". After begin a Resident Dj on MOVE IBIZA RADIO for a Showcase every Friday Night from 23 to 00, and firmed 2 unreleased track for MOVE IBIZA THE ANNUAL 2021. 
On 26 december 2020 (for his 40th birthday), he released the FIRST ALBUM with Deep Tech Lab , called "40" .
Now is a versatile producer, he produce for more labels in more style, also Melodic Techno ecc.

SR2 is a new solo act techno project started in Berlin, Germany. In a relatively short period of time SR2 began playing at some of Berlin's best known Techno clubs such as Arena, Ava Club, Weekend Club, Kit Kat, Brunnen70, Mein Haus am See and R19 and others through out the world. 

His sounds has a diverse range from deep and melodic to dark and hard. He is known for captivating his crowds by playing carefully selected tracks at the right moments. A techno lover and purist SR2 is always playing hands on and right from the heart. 

HIs well received sets gained repeat appearances at these venues and parties. Often experiencing crowds to be blown away from such embracing and pumping sets from a relatively unheard of name.

A lover of drums SR2 often has a percussive sound with heavy bass lines, hard hitting kicks and insane highhats. When DJing SR2 is never just playing from track to track. He is skilled in using many layers of effects, loops and samples to enhance his hypnotic sound. 

SR2 began his inspiration from regularly attending Berlins world famous and infamous techno clubs. After becoming familiar with some of the best Techno artist in the world. He began to draw inspiration from the artist he loved such as Perc, Jonas Kopp, Markus Suckit, Surgeon, Shifted, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmen, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Tommy Four Seven, Nicole Moudaber, Drumcell, Marcel Fengler, Len Faki and many others. 

After DJing for some years SR2 has decided to launch his career one step forward and start producing his own music. SR2 wanted to grasp a deeper understanding of the technical and theoretical side of producing music and designing sounds. So he completed a course in Electronic Music Production at the well respected SAE institute in Berlin. This knowledge helped him hone in on the specific productions tools he need to bring his inspirations to life. Expect big things to come from SR2.
