With a recently recorded EP in the bag, this Mountain Rock quartet is on the rise. It's hard to classify Drifting West into one genre, they blend Rock, Americana, Bluegrass & Funk into an eclectic sound worthy for all.

Drifting West is,  Karl Ayers (Guitar, Bass, Vocals), Nate Jensrud (Mandolin, Guitar, Vocals),Tony Kukla (Bass, Guitar, Vocals) and Marcelo Saldivia (Drums, Percussion, Vocals). Influences are vast, but if you enjoy Neil Young, The Band, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Phish, Widespread Panic or any of the like, you're going to love Aires Attic.

Drifting West is a quartet from Ft. Collins, CO. All the members of the band moved from somewhere or another back east. All those influences were put in a band. Drifting West called the sound that came out "Mountain Rock".

Drifting West's sound can be found somewhere between the Celtic tradition of Appalachian Bluegrass & the blues of Southern Rock, between the jam oriented feel of New England & the structured voice of Seattle, between the Newgrass of the Front Range & the twang of cornfield Country.
