Based in Amsterdam, the up-and-coming deep house music producer, who has captivated the hearts of his listeners and seduced bookers, has played in various venues and festivals, such as DOEL Festival in Belgium. He unveils 7 tracks that encapsulate a myriad of emotions he encountered along the way through ambient atmospheres and deep house beats.

Zurich-based producer Karl Primo aka @lbhonne steps up to deliver his debut long player on @projindigo. 'Present Future / Here There' LP delivers nine solo tracks spanning warm tonal ambiance and deep house tendencies, embellished with effervescent vocals and club focussed frequencies. Our pick 'Sky Funk' gradually develops an enchanting aura of melancholia that can be compared to that finite moment, when the swollen sun sets beneath the horizon. Lb Honne - Sky Funk [Project Indigo]

Lb Honne's 'Homage to Daylight' is woven with unsettling beauty, evoking the spirit of David Lynch's Blue Velvet. Warm, sustained analog pads wash over the listener, thick and melancholic like the Louisiana air itself. A lush, throbbing breakbeat pulses beneath, mirroring the hidden tension lurking beneath the veneer of Lynch's idyllic suburban setting. A poignant vocal sample adds a raw vulnerability, redolent of Sandy's fragile innocence amidst the encroaching darkness.

Halfway down the road, the bright and uplifting arpeggio slices through the melancholic haze like a burst of sunshine after a long and dreary day. It leaves the listener hopeful and optimistic, wondering if it's the dawn breaking and a promise of a brighter tomorrow. 

“Homage to Daylight” is part of Lb Honne's upcoming "present future / here there" LP, out on April 15 via Project Indigo.

Throughout the past five years Berlin based artist Philipp Priebe has been steadily shaping his own creative universe through a constant stream of original material, live mixes, merchandise and accompanying art series for Stólar and himself. His recent album was released on the label to wide acclaim and now it will unveil a selection of remixes of choice cuts from the project, first up to take the reins is the beloved Berlin artist, Rising Sun.
Up first is ‘On The Way Out (Rising Sun Remix I)’, characterised with the producer’s delicate and detailed style via crisp percussion, intricately processed vocal chops, fluttering synth sequences and cinematic atmospherics. The ‘On The Way Out (Rising Sun Reprise I)’ follows, as the name would suggest offering a textural ambient counterpart to the first interpretation.
The ‘Marble (Rising Sun Remix II)’ follows next and merges expansive dub delays and weighty drums with fragments of the original composition. To round out the release we once again revisit ‘On The Way Out’ with the ‘Rising Sun Reprise II’, this time the ethereal pads are met with crunchy break beats and mesmeric vocal chants.
