Coyu's catlovers have chosen 6 of the most successful tracks on the label this year and a legion of their favourite artists to bring the cuts back in to the spotlight. Among the artists brought on board for this special release is UK producer Latmun, who has had an impeccable last twelve months. His stock has skyrocketed since the inimitable 'Def' on VIVa Music. More recently, he's featured with a rework of iconic tune 'Flash' on Green Velvet's Relief Records. He hasn't stopped to look around, however, and this week we showcase his stellar remix of Prok & Fitch 'Tears'. Release date 17/10/16.

UK-based Jay Robinson makes his debut on Psycho Disco! with the Lopsided EP, containing two tracks that deliver the funk and UK bass influence to a classic 4/4 house / dance beat. Having commandeered his place in the House scene by DJing alongside many reputable DJs, in the best clubs, released on some of Psycho Disco!’s fellow labels, seen plenty of radio time, and more, we’re very proud to have a producer like Jay release material with us. The title track “Lopsided” plays into a shimmying drum loop with enough pomp and wobble perfect for 2017’s House vibe. “ANBG” which we’ll leave you to work out what that stands for, is a verified toe-tapper with an infectious hook. No doubt Jay is well on his way to verified House don status, with two more tracks here to prove it.

Hot Creations welcome the legendary Danny Tenaglia, as he delivers his first piece of solo produced music for more than a decade. On remix duty is one of the greatest DJs to grace the electronic music scene, Carl Cox, alongside exceptional New Jersey house producer Harry Romero.

Renowned as a mainstay in the house music scene due to his extensive back catalogue and iconic parties in Miami and Ibiza, Danny Tenaglia delivers a Don’t Turn Your Back to start proceedings. A slice of tuff New York house, it’s the rustling hi hats, infectious vocal and staggered percussion that give this a typical Tenaglia feel. One of America’s finest producers Harry Romero is up next to remix. Fast-paced with a subtly changing groove, it’s the addition of a John Scarpulla’s saxophone solo that creates a fiesta feel. Working together again, Scarpulla is Diana Ross' tour saxophonist who has featured in Harry’s previous tracks including Mongobonix. Awesome Soundwave head honcho Carl Cox serves up the next remix: a dynamic, heritage sounding house cut with flecks of glitchy acid and whirling synths, before his alternative ASW remix comes through with punchy kicks and more underlying acid tones.
