Fresh Poulp Records is an eclectic electronic music netlabel, created in 2004 by Boris Thomas ( dmute.net  webzine's webmaster), Sébastien Charpiot (bassist for french band UHT° ) and Geoffrey Marchand now managing the record label with Tsunami Wazahari. Sailing through dub, techno, electronica and drum'n'bass, the poulp's tentacles also lead to other musical style fiting with the electronic domain and all its crossovers (hip-hop, jazz, oriental music). One of its main goal is to promote its artist via internet with its website, and to release all its catalogue (EP's, LP's and compilations) in free downloadable mp3 format, under Creatives Commons licence. The other goal being the artist's booking, since 2008 Fresh Poulp Records makes the best to find gigs and venues by searching and being open to all opportunity. • DJ Diaz is a bass music pioneer, roots & culture apologist, soundsystem activist and has been an
ambassador of the Austrian electronic music scene since the year 2000.

• Running the SUBSISTENCE Soundsystem together with King Cone proves DJ Diaz as an alpine bass vanguard ever since.

• As Promoter and Host of the several Club nights in Austria he shows the versatility and full extent of his profound knowledge of music and widespread network.

• His musical experience runs the gamut from Roots Reggae to old school ragga jungle in his early years to various forms of Dub and Bass Music in recent times.

• The distinctive style of DJ Diaz’ Selections align UK-Steppers sounds with Reggaestep and Dub with half-step Jungle vibes.

• As an early adopter, DJ Diaz stands for musical progress and improvement, always with a sense for caring about the roots & culture in various kinds of off-beat & bass music.

• His creative work is dedicated to the soundsystem culture and to the miraculous art form of djing, mixing and dubbing.

• So he realized and conducted different art projects, academic research labs and workshops together with universities, cultural funds and international acting artists.
