Published in 1956 Allen Ginsberg's "The Howl & Other Poems" was a cornerstone of what was later deemed the "Beat Generation", and was inspired by a very powerful as well as terrifying peyote trip.  Repeatedly labeled obscene in 1957 a bookstore owner was arrested for selling the book, later the State Supreme Court decided that the poem was of "Redeeming Social Importance". This is a version of the poem through the looking glass of our present time.

Live From Transcentral Radio on WMSE 2 [Deep House/Prog House/Drum & Bass Set]

You're now aboard The Good Ship Dreamtime.

Upon entering your cabin, you notice the console emitting an insistent beep, and a large unlabeled button blinking. You press it, and the AI Steward appears, silencing the notification.

He explains the amenities available on the ship, including an admittedly enticing explanation of the Eternity Pool - the crown jewel of the cruise vessel.

Knowing you have plenty of time before the first port stop of Amazonia, you decide to waste no time, and proceed down to the pool. You change into your suit within the heated locker rooms, a creeping sensation of excitement rising within you. You inhale deeply, and step through the doorway into the Eternity Pool.

A stunning nebulaic starfield shines above you as you enter, comets streaking across the sky. In the distance, across the wide expanse of water, you see birds flying in the distance, and what appears to be a rainstorm over a lush tropical island on the horizon. Tiny swimmers are visible, just barely.

You walk to the edge of the pool. You take a breath.

You jump in.
