Announcing the new single from Joe Gauthreaux featuring Inaya Day, “The Urge in Me.” 

Coming Friday, November 18 to most online shops, “The Urge In Me,” written and produced by Joe Gauthreaux and featuring vocals by the legendary Inaya Day, is the official follow-up to their worldwide circuit sleeper hit, “You Are My Family.”  This song will also simultaneously serve as the official anthem for rapidly growing and popular URGE party. Based out of Miami, URGE was created by circuit superstar Abel Aguilera, in association with mega Miami promoters Hilton Wolman with Luis Morera and Billy Kemp, owners of Score Nightclub. Together, they all represent the best of the Miami and the ever evolving circuit event White Party Week in Miami.  They will host several of the weekend’s functions, including the popular Muscle Beach on Sunday afternoon where Gauthreaux will headline and Inaya will perform “The Urge In Me” for the very first time. With “The Urge in Me,” big beats and moving lyrics are again the focus, with an anthemic chorus ready to move club-goers worldwide.  “This song, in the simplest of terms, is about someone coming into your life who makes you see things in a different light,” says Gauthreaux. “I wrote this song after a period of sadness in my life, and this person helped to turn things around.” 

“I love the dark and foreboding feel of the music, mixed with the uplifting and powerful lyrics. I can’t wait to perform this one!” says Inaya Day. Both Gauthreaux and Day are based out of New York City.  “The Urge In Me” features remixes by some of the most influential music makers on the circuit and club scene today, including Steven Redant, Alain Jackinsky, DJ Leanh, Ivan Guzman, and Lucious Lowe, with more to follow. 


You can pre-order the Gauthreaux produced single NOW ON iTUNES, with the club remixes being serviced to Billboard DJs and clubs everywhere this weekend. The remix pack will be available for sale on December 2nd as a Beatport exclusive.
