Case Study Songs is the debut EP of “Deathsport”. It deals with very specific feelings and dissects those in simple structure and chanson styled lyrics from an everyday perspective. It is a case study about our post pandemic thoughts, being as raw and honest as never before: Simple three chord progressions, glassy synths and a voice that wants to be heard.

Euseng Seto aka Flica needs no introduction to the indie electronic scene, especially for the fans of mü-nest label. After his exquisite "Betwixt" EP released by mü-nest label in early 2021 (as part of the label’s “Music For Home” series - listen to the series >here<), the prolific artist followed up with a number of singles and EPs throughout the year.

As the new year arrives, he again returns to his home label with a breathtakingly beautiful remix single – an imaginative rework of label mate D & The Compass’ IDM infused track “La luna”. Sitting down on a hill after dusk, seeing the city skylight with full moon hang on the night sky, cars passing by from faraway street, and street lights twinkling from far distance, Flica used these scenery as the inspiration to rework D & The Compass’ track into a calm, minimal, waltz-like rhythm piano piece, resulting in a striking sonic difference to the original track that was filled with psychedelic IDM grooves.

La luna (Flica’s Moonlight Remix) is the second instalment in a series of re-imagining and re-work of selected tracks from mü-nest label's "Music For Home" series.

Team Me - Return to the Riverside

Norwegian 6-piece Team Me will release double A-side single ‘Blind As Night’ / ‘The All Time High’ on 11th August through Propeller Recordings, which will be the first single proper since their 2011 debut album.

Securing UK fans from 6Music to Radio1 to NME on first album release ‘To The Treetops!’, Team Me are back with an exciting new album set to be released internationally in January 2015. 

After forming quite quickly back in 2010, Team Me went on to play over 250 shows in two years, including appearances at Latitude and Roskilde, and earned themselves a Norwegian Grammy for ‘Best Pop Album’ and two Independent Music Awards along the way. Taking a break from one another to pursue other commitments and reflect amidst the forests and nature of their hometown of Elverum, the group reconvened in one of Norway’s oldest analogue studios outside of Oslo in September 2013 to begin work on their second album. The recordings were completed in an old farmhouse that the band rented in their hometown. 

Using their local knowledge to seek out some unconventional recording locations and recruiting a children school choir, the album began to take shape with their trademark upbeat guitar pop sound taking even more of a dark and deep lyrical undercurrent than their first offering. 

The first introduction to the bands new sound and album dynamics will come with new tracks ‘Blind As Night’ and ‘The All Time High’ which will be released next month. ‘Blind As Night’ is a dark and expansive track about the misfortune of young love with powerful and sinister percussion and almost chant-like vocals whilst ‘The All Time High’ is the opposite and an orchestral pop track about being in a mental and physical fever-state of mind with an upbeat melody and stunning vocals that are soft yet pleading. The two tracks are the perfect taster to their new album.

Following a packed out show at The Great Escape back in May, Team Me are touring in Germany and Norway over the next couple of months and are performing three UK festival dates with appearances at Kneedeep Festival, Standon Calling and Kendal Calling the first weekend in August.
