In true Nang style Proper Heat deliver with some passionate low-slung disco house, accompanied by a club re-edit and remixes from Joe Morris and Polar Rundfunk.

Our Lithuanian buddies Martin Virgin, Saxtone and Karolis Ramoska debuted on Nang as Proper Heat just last year with the tasteful 'We Are Ready' EP, followed hastily by the acclaimed 'The Move' EP. Now, as a prelude to their forthcoming album with us, we present 'Just A Little Bit.'

The original record is a compound of 80's italo, Balearic good times and some crisp production with the 'just a little bit' vocal permeating throughout. The Club mix is exactly that, with a stacatto-synth bass drop that's been doing the deed at Nang parties of late.

The Joe Morris remix pulls things down to a reflective pace, all moody chords and smooth plucked bass. Real nice. Polar Rundafunk's mix oozes class. More staccato synth arps, but with variety of shimmering transitional elements that suck you in and out of phrases, motifs, timeframes and universes.

Lovely stuff from Proper Heat. Expect the album in Spring 2012.

They were born in the middle of Eastern Europe, on the chilly, nordic shores of the Baltic Sea. They hail from the city which is protected by an Iron Wolf, surrounded by forests and wetlands, hidden among the hills and rivers. A city into which many generations of Western European countries strove to find their way in and tried to disturb the tranquility of the pagan lifestyle. Here, blessed by the thunder and the rain, the Sun and the Moon, they praised their own gods and made music. Jazz, disco and electronic sounds were melting in the fire
heat, spreading the vital sounds of ancient pagan priests, which no other voodoo, wizard or guru could ever repeat. And, it goes on.

I did get quite dedicated to good music, then i uploaded a few bits and bobs and here i am.   I possibly will have more music to get out there in the matrix soon, as many ideas still flow and musical weaving still overlaps in my mind when i listen to a track or two. If i manage to make somebody remember something about the way we once were, then i have truly exceeded in my quest.  If not, i have failed. They was my very best days that have gone by in a magical retrospective way !
