		-Stemming from a more symphonic third grade beginning, 
Devin William Butcher {VENTRIS} immersed himself in the resonating sounds of strings and musical culture. Picking up a violin in the 3rd grade; the vast dynamics, stark contrasts, tempo, color, and velocity of its natural beauty, drove VENTRIS to instinctually find a deep passion for Trance music…this was made possible by way of Rank 1’s legendary track Airwave, in 1997. Another very close 2nd for his inspirational wheel house, is Safri Duo - Snake Food/Rise.  Devin’s taste for the longitudinal wave called sound, sought the finer nuisances of each evolving genre from then on.  From: house, breaks, techno, electro, and even eventually EDM; these constituents slowly carved away at his mind's idea of what sound has the potential to be. 
		-Ultimately, it is in the mechanics of how to coax another individual into expressing their deepest emotions on the dance floor, that has fueled Dev Butcher’s desire for performing. It is in all the minute details of VENTRIS' ever expanding drive, that the experiences of his sets culminate in unexpected twists and turns.  He constantly asks himself questions by which to measure his art, in an effort to accurately examine his abilities, and grow. How do you create the proper valleys for fireworks of peaks?  How do you descriptively create a message, while maintaining a close relationship with your dance floor?  How do you introduce an audience to something new?  
	-The diverse scenes and genres Devin has transcended throughout his career, has only reinforced the methods to conduct his madness.  Genres are irrelevant to him.  A good piece of music will always transcend barriers.  To him, if a track does not have transcendental potential, then it is not something people need to hear. Quality is always at he very top of his priorities.  He believes that music is the raw key to allow the ideal of ‘unity,’ to one day exist on this diverse sphere of carbon and water.

Proper Lane : 
PROPER LANE is a project born in 2014 from the collaboration between David Caparros and Arnaud Beilleau. After around twenty releases under their belt, the spearheads of the NBM record label return with a brand new project. Their first album “Switch” has been released in early 2024 and marks a genuine change in the duo's artistic direction. They offer polished, effective techno and always resolutely geared towards the dancefloor, sweeping different styles, faithful to their rock, electro and psyche influence. 
More productive than ever, a number of tracks are already in the pipeline, promising great collaborations with Luis M, James Pumping, MNGRM, Luv and Dirty Groove.
