Here's the recording of the "After-Closing" set by Sam, or in other words the sweetest two hours of bonus time at rave we ever had. May this documentation of the final hours of our 5th anniversary unfold a bit of the magic that Sam provided for the smooth finale of that long weekend at ://about blank. An excerpt of the set is featured as the B side on our latest cassette release WARM01, with some soothing chill out tunes on the other side. Some copies still available at Bandcamp and only there.

the guest of our 43rd podcast edition is sam, who quickly made a name for herself as a dj and co-organizer of callshopradio, in the leipzig scene and beyond. finely selected, somewhere between the realms of ambient and electronica, she guides us sensitively through the spheres of her musical comfort zone and creates a heartwarming listening experience. 

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

SAM started stepping out of the shadows rather recently. With monthly guests on her “Whatever Floats Your Boat” show on Callshop Radio she has been introducing a musical vision since the beginning of last year and also showed the more floor oriented side of that vision with her booking for the “II. Reihe sleepless” stage at Tarmac Festival. 

In her own DJ sets she carefully brings together a wide range of laid back styles from different electronica and lately she’s been getting a little housier. This mix is her first released dancefloor-oriented one and offers a taste of the upcoming events where we can hear SAM play.
