originally a jazz drummer, and he used to host a radio show covering jazz and neo-soul at Radio StHörfunk in his hometown. He’s been DJing since moving to Freiburg, and he played at one of our last Kyosk sessions. Recently, he made his club debut for our beloved Impuls-Crew.
His sets are characterized by a variety of bouncy percussion, groovy breakbeats, and techno rhythms. As a drummer, these types of sounds are part of his musical identity, and you can definitely feel these roots through his sets!
Jakob´s track selection is always on point, and he´s always trying to create a unique soundscape. That´s why he´s definitely a DJ to watch out for!

@emotionalvoyagerecords is back with its third annual various artist compilation. This time we welcome 13 talented artists which differ in style but who all hold the key component to create sonic bliss. In this journey we take you through a mostly dance-floor oriented spectrum of our sound. The VA is packed with thumping club bangers, to summer bass rave and liquid breaks. The underground aspect is held high here in combination with the urgent need to experiment with sound. Holding on to this red line we are thrilled to present to you a mash up of moods all high on vibes!

A key component to the track follow order on each of our VA’s is the idea of a homogenous flow from one track to another. This idea leans on our childhood memories of a natural album flow so many of our heroes provided. We therefore encourage you to take your time and listen to each track in running order.

Midwest producers Kema & Moreit present Trueque, a four-track release featuring three originals and a remix from Barcelona-based Venezuelan pioneer @phran

↘ Written between Iowa City, Minneapolis, and Chicago, the release moves through fast tempos and percussive frameworks. XXXL hits at 165 BPM, driven by a vocal sample and a heavy swing shaped by Kema’s touch. “Maravilla” and “Sacude” lock into Moreit’s raptor house and hardgroove-driven momentum, keeping the pressure tight and the flow locked in.

↘ Phran delivers a remix of “Sacude” that amplifies the percussion and low-end weight into something even more hypnotic. The EP releases on November 7, 2025.
