Zuletaa is a Colombian DJ from Medellin who emigrated to Germany at a young age. He has been digging for good sound for many years and loves to show it when he gets the chance. Nowadays his focus is on the emerging electronic music scene from Abya-Yala that is innovating the global bass scene, without forgetting the classic multicultural dance rhythms that people from this part of the world grew up with.

**EDIT: Comment to he fourth track: tayhana - Sale GiraFA (De qué viven?): Tayhana is one of the most versatile artists today mixing latinx-rhythms like merengue, cumbia, salsa, reggaeton and electronic music together. What I love about this track is that it evokes the classic synths of cumbia villera and the accordion of colombian cumbia and vallenato over a powerful drum arrangement accompanied by hypnotic sound elements.

Simon is an interdisciplinary artist, DJ, and selector from Colombia, currently based between Berlin and Leipzig, Germany. Simón is one of the founders of Calentura Berlin and Áspora in Leipzig, as well as a member of Necios Berlin. The passion for music makes Simón a true ’’digger’’ of sounds, always seeking inspiration in the rhythms of the Global South with a strong focus on their Latin American roots.

This dedication has led Simón to explore hidden databases, forgotten vinyl shops, antique stores, and any corner willing to share its soundscapes, both in Colombia and around the world. Always eager to listen to the last track or sift through every box to find that special vinyl.

Simón JaVa sets span traditional Latin American rhythmic foundations, including genres such as Salsa, Cumbia, African music, and Merengue, to the most avant-garde and contemporary styles like Latin Club, Guaracha, Perreo, Neo Perreo, Dembow, Baile Funk, Raptor House, Latincore, and Afrofuturism, among others. Each set is crafted as a journey through diverse soundscapes and musical latitudes, always highlighting diversity and breaking monotony.

This unique approach has led Simón to develop the concept of ’’Tejidos Sonoros’’ - ’’Sonics Weaves’’, where different sounds and music intertwine to create an immersive and captivating auditory experience.
