Im Mai ist Siggi Petrol @siggi_petrol vom Kollektiv Exlepäng und FLINTA* Kollektiv Zan bei uns zu Gast. Nach langen Jahren und viel Erfahrung in der Kulturszene in Halle und Leipzig hat sie 2022 angefangen selbst aufzulegen. Seitdem ist sie mit schnellen, treibenden Techno Sounds unter anderem im Elipamanoke hinter den Decks zu finden.

"Ich bin mir sicher, es gibt wohl so Einige, die ihre eigene tolle Geschichte mit Firle erzählen können. Hier kommt meine:

Als ich Christian zum ersten Mal auf einer legendären WG-Party im Hauptquartier sah, überkamen mich gemischte Gefühle. Diese riesige Person verunsicherte mich etwas und ich stellt mir den ganzen Abend hinweg folgende Fragen: Wer ist dieser unbekannte Mensch und warum bringt der 2 Flaschen Päng mit, wobei die eine Flasche nur für ihn selbst ist…?

Nach ein paar Gesprächen dauerte es nicht lange, da begriff ich, dass ich vor mir die flauschigste und herzlichste Person hatte, die ich seit langem kennenlernen durfte. Ich war bereit meine Skepsis abzulegen und mich ihm immer mehr zu Öffnen. Neben den wertvollen Gesprächen schaffte es Christian durch sein riesengroßes Potpourri an musikalischem Können sich von Übergang zu Übergang immer tiefer in mein Herz zu mixen. So weit, dass aus einem Freund ein Familienmitglied wurde.

Als ich letztes Jahr mit dem Auflegen begann, kam mir nur ein passender Lehrmeister in den Sinn. Ich wusste damals schon, dass ich, wenn er mich als Schülerin aufnimmt, den besten, einfühlsamsten und geduldigsten Meister an meiner Seite haben werde, den ich mir jemals hätte wünschen können. Dank Christian lernte ich mit viel Spaß an der Sache, schnell und seine Liebe zu Musik erweiterte auch meinen Horizont. Ohne ihn wäre ich noch lange nicht so weit, wie ich es heute bin. Meine unendliche Dankbarkeit ist nicht in Worte zu fassen und es wird kein Set vergehen, bei dem ich nicht an ihn und unsere stundenlangen Sessions in seinem Zuhause denken werde.

Ich trage fortan den Menschen, mit dem riesengroßen Herz mein Leben lang bei mir und werde ihn für immer unendlich vermissen.

Dieses Set widme ich Firle.

Die Musik, die ich spiele, ist für mich ein Ausdruck von Unabhängigkeit – die Freiheit, meine Lieblingsmusik auf einer hochwertigen Anlage zu genießen und zu teilen. Wenn sie auch anderen gefällt, ist das für mich das perfekte Ergebnis. Zudem eröffnet mir die Musik die Gelegenheit, mich auf eine mehr oder weniger subtile Weise politisch zu äußern.

// Woher nimmst du deine Inspiration? //
Ich bin ständig auf der Suche nach neuen Tracks mit kräftigen Basslines und fetten Kicks. Eigentlich liebe ich es, mich immer wieder von neuer Musik überraschen zu lassen und dabei ständig neue Lieblingslieder zu entdecken.


// Was muss sich deiner Meinung nach an der Szene ändern? //
Ich glaube, der Szene würde es enorm weiterhelfen, wenn verantwortungsvolle Positionen vielfältiger besetzt wären. Viel zu oft sind diese nach wie vor in Männerhand. Das bedeutet nicht, dass alle ihren Job schlecht machen, aber eine größere Diversität würde der Szene in ihrer gesamten Bandbreite definitiv zugutekommen. Außerdem sollte Subkultur endlich als das anerkannt und gefördert werden, was sie wirklich ist: Kultur – nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger.
