-Match607 Perspective-

 Meeting at a hip-hop show, repa1ner and Match607 clicked. Kicking rhymes and talking music, they instantly became friends. repa1ner living in Ohio and Match607 in Kentucky stopped them from working together. Match607 being in a number of hip-hop groups that never went off or had the right tools, he moved to Colorado, where his friend the Do Pro had the beats and the equipment. Upon getting there, he realized that Do Pro had moved to making dub step. Left with a notebook and no beats, Match607 decided to make his own. ( A hobby he was already familiar with.) Needing help for a verse, match607 hit up repa1ner, asking if he still wanted to work together. The response, I'm sure, is quite obvious. Being an understatement, Match607 was impressed. Continuing to send beats to repa1ner from Colorado, but distance proving to be a barrier, Match607 boarded a train back to Ohio, to improve work ethic for the group: Proper Verbage.

 -repa1ner perspective-

 Making conversation in line at a hip-hop show in his hometown, repa1ner realized that his new friend was parked at a meter.... He explained to Match607 that it was a week day and that he was gonna get towed if he didn't move his car. This could have been problematic, considering the fact that Match was visiting from Kentucky. repa1ner and Match stepped out of line and ran to move Match's car, while both of their girls waited in their place. After that situational bonding moment where repa1ner saved Match time and money, they decided to hang together for the show.... Every smoke break was freestyles and recitals. They quickly formed a friendship and decided to keep in touch... 2 years later...... After repa1ner had exhausted every opportunity to make music with those he knew, Match607 hit him up through Facebook with a beat he needed help with. The response, I'm sure, is quite obvious. Being an understatement, repa1ner was impressed. Continuing to receive beats from Match from Colorado, but distance proving to be a barrier, repa told Match to get on a train back to Ohio to improve work ethic for the group: Proper Verbage

Whether it's a heavy bass line underneath a bed of heartfelt lyrics and jazzy hip hop, or futuristic- downtempo beats that make you feel like your swimming in space, multi-talented Nashville based DJ/Producer/Artist Indie Chris is guaranteed to take you on whatever musical journeyyou're looking for.  

Born and raised in Nashville, TN Indie Chris has always had a deep love for music. Before he could even afford a set of turntables,  he often remembers in middle school putting in pain-staking hours making "mix cd's".

 "It had to blend perfectly, the entire cd from beginning to end had
to tell a story from track to track. It wasn't just a bunch of random
songs thrown on a cd. Everything had to make since. It's funny thinking
about that now, because that has a lot to do with the way I DJ and
choose tracks for my sets and for my albums."

        From these humble beginnings Indie Chris was not only able to finally purchase his own pair of turntables and mixer, but full on studio set up as well. This allowed him for full on experimentation with new rhythms and sounds, ironing out the craft of production and beat making, and producing the unique Indie Chris sound that is heard today.

The skills used today were honed living in Murfreesboro, TN for two years djing house parties, head shops, bars, clubs, virtually anywhere he was allowed the opportunity to do so on an almost every day basis.

Within the next year he moved back to Nashville snagging a slew of residencies in prime Nashville clubs, has released two Mixtapes in two completely different genres of music, ("The
Perfect 10"){Hip Hop/4th Stanza Collective}, ("Mashed Potatoes Vol.1 THE REMIX/THE MASHUP"){EDM}, and has held a string of collaborations with the hottest up and coming artists, collectives,
and DJ's in Music City Nashville.

Currently Indie Chris is working on his 1st debut release on House of Wax Records set for the early part of 2015. The project is entitled, " Still…Life… A Look Deeper".

With all the collaborations, projects, and business ventures you can't but help notice the passion and love that he has for anything he chooses to take on. Therefore, staying true to his art and his name as Indie Chris...
