Introduction

Embarking on an audacious journey from 140 to 200 BPM in acid core, I grappled with concerns: Could such a rapid tempo still captivate an audience? The experiment, however, exceeded expectations. Participants, crucial to this study, embraced this intensified tempo with remarkable enthusiasm. Their receptivity has opened new doors in understanding the elastic limits of music and listener engagement.

Given:

    t is the time in hours, 0≤t≤2.
    b(t) is the BPM at time t.
    The mixtape starts at b(0)= 140 BPM.
    The mixtape ends at b(2)= 200 BPM.

An exponential function can be represented by the equation:
b(t)=ab^t

Where a is the initial value (when t=0) and b is the base.

Given b(0)=140, it's clear that a=140.

Our task now is to find the value of b such that b(2)=200.

Substituting in the given values:
200=140×b^2
  ⟹  b^2=10/7
  ⟹  b=Square(10/7)

Thus, the function representing the BPM as it increases over the 2 hours in an exponential manner is:
b(t)=140×(square(10/7))^t

Future works

The investigation into the realm of exponential BPM enhancements in acid core music has paved the way for an exhilarating sonic future. While this study has highlighted the feasibility and audibility of transitioning from a steady 140 BPM to an intense 200 BPM, there lies an uncharted territory beyond these realms.

Specifically, to the active dance participants: your kinetic responses to the escalating BPM gradient were critical in validating our preliminary hypotheses on temporal intensification in auditory perception. Your unwavering commitment to the event protocol has significantly advanced our understanding in this domain.

Future explorations will undoubtedly build upon the foundational observations gleaned from Proseccival 2023.

Ein kleiner Stern in Vorpommern leuchtet strahlend hell. So hell wie der fette Vollmond über der Demminer Waldbühne. So hell wie die roten Bengalos auf den Tribünen. So hell wie der schönste Sonnenaufgang nach einer ekstatischen Nacht.

Ein Tag, der sich wirklich angefühlt hat wie 100 Tage Sommer.
Ein Tag, der noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

Wie war dein Weg bisher?
Alles hat mit einer Wette vor einem Jahr angefangen und in Kombination mit viel Prokrastination erst im März 2024 Gestalt angenommen. Seit dem kann ich Auflegen nicht mehr aus meinem Leben wegdenken. Durch meinen ersten Gig auf dem MIT DIR Festival wurde ich direkt ins kalte Wasser geworfen. Ich hätte mir keinen besseren Start vorstellen können. Bei allem was ich mache hab ich Freund*innen an meiner Seite, welche mich durch die Höhen und Tiefen begleiten, welche mit damit einhergehen. 

Was ist dir an einem Safespace wichtig?
Ein Safespace ist super individuell und ziemlich dynamisch, was sich gestern noch sicher angefühlt hat, kann sich sehr schnell ins Gegenteil umkehren. Aus diesem Grund umgebe ich mich mit Menschen, mit denen ich gemeinsam Safespaces erschaffen kann, um diese Räume auszuweiten und für so viele wie möglich zugänglich zu machen.
