Based in Germany and Denmark the duo has the aim to create a sonic representation of their own introspectively recognisable forms of feelings and life events. Inner Shapes’ main focus lies on the organic sounds, the hypnotic grooves and the psychoacoustic experiences that gives the listener a space for introspective exploration and self-realisation.

“Pursuit” uncoils through propulsive kicks and rising atmospherics into a snaking acid riff. “Domain” delivers the heartbeat of the EP with an epic melodic thump morphing into gyrating percussion and bells. “You Owe Me” reigns things in with its restrained looping groove. “Surrender” delivers the final exhale with a freely unfurling track that radiates the joy of arriving at your destination.

Christian Samsara is a Danish-born DJ and record collector.
His journey into electronic music began back in his early teenagehood and after a few years, he discovered the electronic ambient genre which grew into his big passion and later on, lead him behind the decks.
Since the beginning of his DJ carreer, he performed at a great number of festivals and events accross the world and of course in his homeland, Denmark.
Inspired by the nature and isolated places, his mixes are often a selection of ambient / downtempo / IDM music with deep cinematic soundscapes and layers of organic textures.
He joins Ultimae Records in 2015 and is currently selecting works for an upcoming compilation release.

From the need to contribute and relieve a little the social and economic problem that is currently being experienced in the country due to the emergency of COVID-19, From a Lost Place has brought together local and international artists who have joined the cause to, through music, try to help the most vulnerable. 100% of the money raised on Bandcamp will be donated in two parts: One for Santa Cruz del Islote, an artificial island located in the San Bernardo archipelago (Colombia) and considered one of the most populated islands in the world, which It sustains itself economically through tourism and now finds itself with a lack of food and medicine supplies. The other part will go to the Fundación Rediseñándonos, located in Bogotá and whose initiative is the reintegration of vulnerable people and street dwellers through weaving and clothing. Right now and due to the current situation, this home needs to stock up on food and raw materials to continue working for those who need it. 

Many thanks to all the artists involved in this project, thank you for accepting and believing in this initiative that today is finally coming true!

A partir de la necesidad de contribuir y aliviar un poco el problema social y económico que se está viviendo actualmente en Colombia debido a la emergencia del COVID-19, From a Lost Place ha reunido artistas locales e internacionales que se han sumado a la causa para, a través de la música, tratar de ayudar a los más vulnerables. El 100% del dinero recaudado en Bandcamp será donado en dos partes: Una para Santa Cruz del Islote, una isla artificial ubicada en el archipiélago de San Bernardo y considerada una de las islas más pobladas del mundo, la cual se sostiene económicamente por el turismo y ahora se encuentra con falta de abastecimiento de comida y medicamentos. La otra parte se destinará a la Fundación Rediseñándonos, ubicada en Bogotá (COL) y que tiene como iniciativa la reinserción de personas vulnerables y habitantes de calle por medio del tejido y la confección. Ahora mismo y debido a la situación actual, este hogar necesita abastecerse de alimentos y materia prima para continuar trabajando en pro de quienes lo necesitan.

"Lost felt himself.
It was cold - fire had just been invented and somehow he didn't get it on the chain.
When all the others sat around the fire in their groups and talked about hunting and gathering, he was bored to death.

-a modern civilization should be based on more !

So he went off and looked for something special that could catapult him into higher spheres. something like watching the Milky Way at night.

But there was nothing, nothing that could influence him in a natural way. 
He was cold - unable to find his place in society.

-maybe the herb of the charmer, which he stole, can help?  Metafaktor is an ancient measurement for an artificial created dissociative state of mind (invented by Özi)"
