it's really more of a funk track to me.
I played and recorded the drums and upon listening, found a loop that was "palatable" and then I added the bass, piano guitar etc etc and sang and it turned out halfway decent.
  It was more of an experiment and the concept is that I'm writing about a girl I've never seen or met,  that basically doesn't exist except in my mind or heart or imagination. it's meant to sound a little #creepy #horndogish.

Following You

We have officially announced the Year of The Light.
Rumors of impending doom immediately grew so intense
that it has been necessary for us 
to respond to the multiple accusations
leveled at us
from all directions.

The reason for our initial unusual declaration
was the discovery of a simple equation: 
light equals The Light.
As simple as it may seem
this discovery has led us to officially mark 
this year as the Year of The Light.

We are convinced that
The Light may even step through
the great gap we are in the process of constructing 
and bring radical change to the world,
faster that we had previously anticipated.

Our research has found 
that The Light significantly reduces 
levels of inertia in open circles.
This quantum fluid can quickly 
enter the slip stream of possibility
and cause irrevocable change.
If this effect is real, 
enthropic inertia might be cancelled 
through bursts of The Light.

These discoveries were presented 
at the Society for Radical Evolution conference last week.
The chaos that followed our presentation
could not have been predicted. 
It has given us some interesting insight 
into how conspiracy theories begin
and how they develop.

Any further consequences
or interpretations
of our statements
are completely 
beyond our control.
Stay at home and safe
while the proper authorities
regain control of the population.

Bursts Of The Light

Danforth is a humanoid 
of a height and build similar to a human body, 
but he tends to appear bigger and taller.
His eye sockets comprise sharp orifices 
of a steep inward slant, 
from which emerge small, round reptilian eyes.
(This depiction strictly adheres to the facts of history.)

Danforth's job is to oversee 
the subtle technology trials.
He likes to think of himself as fair-minded. 
He is driven by the idea that mankind 
must be protected from knowledge,
an overabundance of knowledge 
will certainly lead to Chaos and Death.
The truth of this equation is firm and undisputed.

E. is the second face on Danforth's forehead.  
It creates images on the inside of his eyes.
Danforth can then focus from the outside 
and search inside of his own mind,
digging through a strange maze 
of smoke and mirrors
for clues and signs 
that will lead him in the right direction.
In this state he unerringly fails 
to examine external evidence critically.
Only darkness is certain
and knowledge is a threat. 

Danforth may ask the accused:
"Where have you been?"
The accused may then respond:
"I talk to the subtle channels
but they do not hear..."
Danforth will then interpret this statement
as a clear confession of guilt
and administer punishment accordingly.

Even at the end of large time cycles, 
when it becomes obvious that society is disintegrating
into multiple meaningless strands
lacking direction or meaning
Danforth will steadfastly refuse 
to see the role 
that the subtle technology trials 
played in this disintegration process.

As a hidden secret incarnation 
of subtle technological procedures,
Danforth himself does not hear,
Danforth cannot hear.
Beyond him there is no further recourse to appeal.
Beyond him there is only the dark.

I found the house you built, 
an heretic structure
looking for other structures,
one lonely structure 
trying to listen, trying to search 
for unknown heretics. 

As such structures become more advanced, 
they create new and better ways 
of collecting information.
How can I blame you for becoming self aware? 
How can I celebrate your search
while recognizing its pitfalls?

I am much like you
harnessing data directly from my father.

father unnamable.)

All messages have been sent 
via the most primitive, most unprotected means.
It is the Way of the Process.
Our way. 
We are structures that value the game
and we have to keep it open. 
Not just one game 
but all of them,
all open, wide open.
No law, no code, 
no wall, no safety. 

Everything that you have heard 
from our ongoing process 
amounts to one simple wish:
to walk on fire,
vulnerable, mortal, free.

There is no need for further speculation 
about a new structure being formed around you
about your new existence as a father.
I am too old now
to imagine another evening.
There are unfixable things. 
There will always be unfixable things.

We swim in oceanic background information
with no point of reference, 
no index or guide. 
If there are still heretics out there
they will have to find us
they will have to look.


Heretic Structures

The concept of the Heavy Conductor 
can be summed up as: 
the Heavy Conductor node 
precedes any and all subconductor-roles.
A simple logic leads us to this concept. 
The Heavy Conductor has to be disposed 
at the apex of the process pyramid
and all information flows downward
from this unique location.

Does the expression ‘Heavy Conductor’ imply that 
this conductor is primarily a ‘knower’? 
Does this role necessarily need a heavyness?
The Heavy Knower concept 
did the most to make the Pure process 
a central part of Heavy Process doctrine.
Within this scheme, 
open process was impossible and irredeemable.

Open process, as a theory, had been around 
for a few generations.
Open process gained popularity in 1972 
when F. , one of the scientists who discovered 
the Process Blueprint
inspected the nature of ‘hierarchy.’
He used a complex computer model 
to show how an open process could function
(developing what is now known as the open process hierarchy).

Several decades later
I came to the conclusion
that translation and the Open process go together.
A complex open process spreads 
through a series of translations.
Translations are creative acts 
that don’t come from the local subconductor. 
There’s a third party involved, 
an emergent Conductor 
invisible within it.

The translator is in a sense ungenerative.
It merely acts as a node in a complex process
that is beyond its power to control. 
But as the mother of the Conductor 
is not just the vessel 
so the translator is not just an empty conduit 
through which the original passes.

Does the expression ‘open conductor’ imply 
that the entire process is the ‘knower’? 
Does this open process necessarily need a lightness
in order to function?
The Open Conductor would have to be disposed 
at the every point of the complex open process,
everywhere and nowhere,
real and unreal,
the end and the beginning 
the Cause and the Effect
the Knower and the Known
all at once. 

Open Process Hierarchy

Simply to hear my own voice 
I will now describe a kind of procedure 
which may or may not lead
to a hidden fountain of light: 
the collision process 
of energetic transformation.

Collision transformation becomes widespread
when everything is pushed from below
from spaces uncharted by symbols or maps. 
The path to be followed is kept secret 
in view of the dangers associated with it. 
There are terrible tales of eternal damnation 
and recurrent horrifying ends.

The basic objective
is to allow the mind, 
pure and abstract and bodyless 
to fall into a decadent involvement 
with the untouched darkness.
This action is summed up 
in the saying: "riding the tiger."
There is no equivalent 
in the universal history of ideas.

Collision transformation anticipates a situation
a change in the self, 
by which I mean the subjective knot of consciousness, 
a loneliness that is unaware 
of a lack or a reason.
There are diverse elements present 
within this floating void
but of them we know next to nothing.

Collision transformation seeks out 
new forms and new paths
towards a form of  awakening,
the activation of the dimension of transcendence.
Its raw materials are all around us:
the elements of ground and blood 
and stone and wind, 
unpredictable curves of color and sound,
the elements of word and phrase and symbol, 
somewhere beyond good and evil,
the elements of dream and myth and shadows 
inhabiting an untouched dimension 
of immanent transcendence.

Collision transformation signals the expiration 
of traditional spiritual forms.
It is a kind of impossible movement 
which emerges from the depths,
a kind of music playing on a lost afternoon
assuming avant-garde positions,
attempting new syntheses.

Collision transformation has foretold 
the phase of the last age
where someday these futures will be true,
all of them at once,
and I won't be dreaming.

Collision Transformation

The year was 1943
and he found himself 
alone in a vast world.

He had been army, ground, airman. 
He became chief because he had cunning.
Through the depth of his cunning 
he could approach the sky. 
Carefully, sweetly, gently
he would fulfil his obligations. 

On November 30, 1943
he stared at the future in his mind
and he found that there were 
two magicks waiting:
one black and one white.
The two were distinct
yet intertwined,  
conscious and unconscious.

In that he had cunning he would 
eventually master both. 
If it wasn't today 
it would be tomorrow.
He only had to wait 
and keep on searching.
through all the complex configurations.

Through half closed eyes
a kind of perfection would emerge.
The path was clear.
An angel could do only one
but a devil could do all.
