Howling Planet - Alone (2016)

Well it starts with proto punk [Ramones] & early synth stuff [DEVO], then 80s alternative [depeche mode] & dark wave [clan of xymox]. While at the same time including heavy/industrial [Sisters of Mercy, Front 242] and on to witch house. It just keeps getting better.

Dunoon is predominantly a studio project based near Plauen, Saxony, Germany. The music mainly follows (neo)classical and orchestral themes with influences from Gothic, Dark Wave, Electro, Medieval, World and Ambience.

The first album "Der Schlaf kommt mit dem Regen" ("The sleep comes with the rain") with norwegian singer Charlotte Jacobsen was released way back in 2003.

The second album "Puppenspieler" has been released in early 2015, this time with strong support from german singer Jacqueline Treydel. 

Also involved in the "Zdiar" project and often collaborating with Brian Johnstone and the "Aurora" project.


Gargyzaa is a one-man band located in Espoo, Finland.
 I play all the instruments manually (guitars, keyboards, bass, plastic  didgeridoo, Korg monotron duo, fipple flute etc.) and sing all the vocals. Plus I have written these lyrics and peculiar poetry/ bizarre dialogues you hear (in Finnish&English).
Some people have asked me who plays the instruments and I have answered them several times that it´s me who is responsible for all this trippy noise and musical weirdness.
It has been quite tedious and more or less irritating to explain this relatively often, hahaha.
I´m a also a self taught "musician" and "vocalist". I play by ear.
The drum parts are made from short loops with Audacity and then the so called rhythm track is upoaded to my Zoom R-24. After that I will start recording the instruments/vocals on top.
I don´t have or play drums. Well, maybe one day.
So basically I use Zoom R-24 to record and even master these tracks. I bring the finished "product" to SoundCloud through Audacity.
My equipment is very amateurish, cheap and in some cases semi-broken. 
I use those infamous progressive rock structures, but deliver them with a punk rock attitude/gear, hehehe.
The cover art/design is just basically a few collages/paste-ups, psychedelically distorted&enhanced pics and a couple of random photos I took. Nothing special.
