One of the founding members of @DenhamAudio, @groovyduk, slides in on @ec2a for the latest TENTEN instalment, with track ‘Symbiotic', taken from the 'Rock Da Place'’ EP, out on the 11th July. 

On the EP, 'Rock Da Place’ and ‘Shake That’ open the project in cowbell infused hard-house fashion, before moving into bassline focused ‘Symbiotic’, with the body of work closing on ‘Love Me Less’ a cloudy-jungle special that encapsulates Groovy D’s ability to cover all genres.

Originaire de Brest, Protein Papi est un DJ/beatmaker tout terrain. Plongé tout jeune dans le rap, cet enfant du son des années 2000 a toujours eu une oreille du côté du mainstream et une autre penchée sur le digging. Autant adepte des violentes 808s d'ATL que des vibes délicates de Toronto ou des mélodies de Lagos, cet amoureux de bonne musique s'amuse même parfois à se balader du côté des rythmiques uptempo.
Fort de toutes ces influences, il collabore depuis quelques années avec le rappeur brestois Reynz. Ensemble, ils publient en septembre 2020 l’EP “Pluie, vol. 1”, ode à leur pluvieuse ville d’origine et véritable porte d’entrée vers leur univers poétique et rythmé.
