Belgium duo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike has collaborated with Diplo & Fatboy Slim to produce a song for the Fatboy Slim curated album, Bem Brasil. Eparrei is an un-paralleled slice of electro mambo, fusing cutting edge EDM with the sounds and culture of Brasil.

This new summer anthem also features, Brasilian electro funk group, Bonde Do Role who unique take on the local ‘funk carioca’ has seen them play to huge crowds in South America and support the likes of CSS. All this combined creates an anthem destined to scorch dance floors across the world, and also perfectly captures the tone and spirit of what Fatboy Slim has aimed for with his curation of the Bem Brasil album, a synthesis of the best of dance music and Brasilian vibes.

The award-winning brothers have become leading lights in the new wave of international dance music currently taking the planet by storm. Having broken out of the Belgium scene in 2007, they have since risen to become the hosts of the legendary Tomorrowland (and TomorrowWorld) Festivals, while also releasing huge global dance floor hits such as ‘Mammoth’, ‘Wakanda’,  ‘Ocarina’ and most recently ‘Tremor’ together with teen phenom Martin Garrix. In the past 12 months the brothers have amassed 8 Beatport # 1 records including a remix of Fatboy Slim’s ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat’ to start 2014 with. 

Diplo’s long association with re-imagining the limits of electronic music stretches to decades. An integral part of the team, the much heralded producers side project Major Lazer showcases his application of world music styles such as Soca, Braile Funk and Dancehall making his talents critical to capturing the essence of Brazil. As owner of the hugely influential ‘Mad Decent Label’ currently making waves throughout all electronic music’s sub genres, this is a man who gives true meaning to the word dexterity..

Fatboy Slim has had a long love affair with Brazil, its people and its culture, having DJed there many times including to 100,000’s of people at Salvador carnival in Bahia (on the back of a trio no less) and even in Brazil’s version of the Big Brother house. It was this love which inspired him to work with the prestigious Decca Records on creating a soundtrack to this year’s biggest summer event.

Fatboy Slim is returning in 2014 to curate a unique compilation album which includes remixes of classic Brazilian songs such as Felguk’s remix of Jorge Ben Jor’s ‘Taj Mahal’, as well as brand new tunes by some of the world’s finest contemporary artists like DJ Fresh, Gregor Salto, Carl Cox and Greg Wilson
With weeks left before the first time ball meets boot in Brazil, Fatboy and his compatriots are here to get the party started early.

Dutch-Indonesian DJ and producer Marc Benjamin has teamed up with Regilio to deliver high-tempo new track ‘Thunder’, due out on 8th September via Steve Angello’s SIZE Records.   

Packing a punch from the off, ‘Thunder’ features an incredibly explosive build-up laced with irresistible progressive chords. Underpinned by a powerful rhythmic beat, the production is blessed with a suitably thunderous drop and looks set to destroy dancefloors upon release after attracting the attention of Swedish dance heavyweight, and SIZE label boss, Steve Angello.  

Best known for his remix work and collaborations with the likes of Zedd, Laidback Luke, and Benny Benassi, Marc Benjamin has attracted attention from all corners of the dance music world, having performed at various iconic locations including Tomorrowland, and London’s Ministry of Sound.

  Having achieved his first residency at the age of 16 years old, Marc propelled himself into the spotlight when his single ‘Riser’ landed in the Top 10 of Beatport Top 100 Chart in 2013. From this success, he rapidly gained support from the likes of Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, David Guetta, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

DJ and producer Regilio is a part of a new wave of progressive house producers to come out of The Netherlands in recent times. Earlier this year, he teamed up with British DJ and SIZE artist Corey James for their track ‘Front 2 Back’, which featured on Nicky Romero’s Miami 2017 compilation. Regilio recently released his single ‘Body Go’ with Simon Kidzoo, which has been a solid staple on the festival circuit this summer.

  A collaboration formed in the Netherlands, ‘Thunder’ combines a perfect blend of the unique styles of both Marc Benjamin and Regilio. The infectious track is the perfect soundtrack to round off the summer season and will cement both DJ’s as artists to watch.
